King Mattress Pad Cover Cooling Mattress Topper Pillow Top with Down Alternative Fill (8-21”Fitted Deep Pocket King Size) White

I don’t normally write a lot of reviews, but felt that this item needed input. Like most people who looked through the item images I’m sure, I honestly thought that the actual mattress pad would be a lot thicker than it actually is. I’d say it’s actually around 1/2 - 1 inch thick when completely fluffed up. That being said, for what it actually is, it was surprisingly soft and comfortable. I purchased the topper, because even though we just purchased a new foam mattress for our bed and use a “my pillow” topper on top of it, our bed just does not sleep the best. My husband constantly has woken with back aches that eased slightly with the new mattress. He also has recently started getting out of bed in favor of sleeping on the sofa, because he couldn’t get comfortable in our bed. It was then that I suggested a mattress pad like we used to have on our old bed. Spending a while on Amazon, not wanting to break the bank on a mattress pad, I came across this item. It had good ratings and had the Amazon seal of approval (Amazon’s choice) on it, so I figured it must be pretty good. I ordered it and received quickly. Opening up the pad, which comes in a surprisingly small box, it immediately started fluffing up. The instructions recommended letting it sit for a few days OR put it out in the sun. Beings that it was around 2pm and I wanted to use it the same night, I opted for tossing it out on the back deck for an hour or so. It was then that I read recommendations for fluffing it in the dryer. So, I then tossed in the dryer on “low heat” for about 20-30 min and took it out. After placing it on the bed it looked just like in my photo. It seemed to have fluffed up as much as possible (again around 1/2 a 1 inch). I should also add that there was no odor noted as some had mentioned. I’m happy to report that after placing it on the bed, my husband reports a lot softer feeling bed and that he actually slept better. To anyone wondering if they should get this mattress pad, I would say give it a go. Realize that it’s not going to be ready to use right out of the box, but with a little time and work, it’s great and worth the investment.

Very well made, the second one I’ve bought since we stole the first one from the guest bedroom to put in our new RV! It actually makes the sleep better by adding that extra bit of cushioning. It was a perfect fit so no corner straps were needed, saving a bit there and the price is excellent! We have a tiny puppy who thinks he needs to hide his bones under the pillows and thank goodness for this mattress cover. I still have to continually wash the sheets Charlie gets greasy. I probably need to put plastic over the whole bed, lol I definitely recommend this mattress cover!

My husband has been complaining that our memory foam mattress is making him hot at night and while we are shopping for a new mattress, thought we would give this a try meanwhile as it is affordable and the description says it is cooling. I washed it before using, it washed well, and it was easy to put on the mattress. I was skeptical about what cooling properties this cover has since it doesn't have any special materials, however my husband says he feels a big difference and has not been hot since I put this on the bed. I didn't notice a temperature difference myself, but I was not having any temperature issues. The big surprise is how much more comfortable it makes the mattress having this soft layer on top- I sleep better and have no pain in the mornings since we have been using this pad. The only downside, which seems to occur with most mattress pads, is that the padded area doesn't quite go to the edges of the mattress. Now instead of the nice square memory foam edges that allows full width of the mattress to be used, we've got rounded edges like a standard mattress has. With nearly 3" rounded off at each edge, we are losing 6" of mattress width. The topper part should be about 5" to 6" wider and longer. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. Other than that, I definitely recommend this product.

This is an excellent mattress pad. It came in a vacuum sealed bag, so I opened it up, shook it up a little then draped it over a chair. Let it be for 2 days with an occasional shake. Then I washed and dried it. It came out very smooth and fluffy. Now after using it for a week, it is still fluffy and comfortable. I don't think it would offer pain relief, but I expect it will be durable. It is NOT waterproof, which is clearly stated in the description, so reviewers who complained about that, the error is on them. It is a mattress pad, not a pillowy topper. It's just meant to keep the mattress cleaner from skin and hair cells, etc. And that's what it does.

Omg!! I really did not want to buy so much into the reviews, especially since I am so picky and have so many issues with sleeping, but thought, I will give it a try, the worst it can happen-is having to return it back to the seller. I have back issues, as well as hard time finding a right mattress! I can't even figure out my own sleeping position or what makes it more comfortable for me! Few years ago we upgraded to Leesa mattress, reviewer's swear its the best mattress out there! Well...i like it and hate it at the same time. Back pains and discomfort is still and always there. So we upgraded to a part which allows you to electronically move up and down your bed, and I have tried lifting up the upper part, lower part of the bed, both...discomfort still there. Restless nights!! I just have ordered this topper and received it yesterday. I let it sit in the sun for about 1.5 hr. Placed it on my bed....and this morning I did not want to get out of my bed!! Im currently snuggled in my bed enjoying my tv show. I have literally spent only one night, and few hours today on this topper (and if anything changes, I will update my review) but so far I will tell you: "this topper is magical"!! All positive reviews I saw, are legit! I don't leave reviews unless I am simply shocked by the quality-please remember I am one extremely picky person! And I absolutely love this topper! I will (right now) order one for my daughter's bed too! THIS IS A MUST HAVE, best comfort I have experienced!

It’s note bad and sizing is good but not very fluffy or a lot of padding.

My mattress was very rough so I bought it for comfort. It’s very comfortable

More like mattress protector than topper. The fill seems too empty to feel any loft at all. With this price for a mattress protector is too costly. Wanted to return but not sure how so just use it as a protector instead. Continue my search for at least 2 inch topper to feel sleeping on cloud.. Spend extra $$ to bring it to a commercial washer & dryer.. despite a few days it is not fluffing any much.. and even manually tried to fluff every square.. but hopeless.. sad. Wasted my money. :((

I purchased this product because of all the reviews saying it is cooling. I am very sad to say, it is the complete opposite for me, I have never been hotter, I am so disappointment. Please do not purchase this product for the cooling effect, it does not work.

I love this product it is a great fit and is super comfortable. It is not too hot and provides comfort to your body when you are sleeping. I feel like it hugs you and then fluffs back up during the day and then ready for the next night. We sleep on this every night and both love it. Would most definitely purchase another when we need one. So far the best mattress cover we have purchased.
