Shakyamuni Buddha Statue 8.6" Tall Ceramic Home Meditating Decor, Shakyamuni Budda Statue Decoration Indoor/Outdoor with Chinese Gift Box(RED)

To my surprise, this is absolutely beautiful. I say surprised because I have been disappointed many times by poorly made ceramics from international sellers.There's nothing like a well done Thai-inspired ceramic Buddha and this does not disappoint!Here’s what I think deserves five stars:—The sculpture is presented in a beautiful brocade covered box with a lock. Talk about a wowza gift! I am not gifting this however, as I have a spot in my peaceful shower room where it will live.—Once out of the box I held it in my hands and was so delighted with the glaze and finishing. The “red” is like a terracotta or deep ochre, similar to colors found in monastic robes worn by Buddhist monks. It has a matte glaze that reminds me of raku. The white is a beautiful high fired classic blanc de chine, and it is smooth as silk. There’s not one little spot that is rough or unfinished. And with all the small details, including the fingers, this is hard to do. Even the underside is perfectly finished with no sloppy applied glaze.—It’s the perfect size for a counter, small table, or anywhere really that you want to be reminded of peace and serenity.It does come with three tiny little sacred objects, just in case you want to add these into a tableau. I find them a bit too small to really use. But I appreciated the “extra mile.”Well done is all I can say. I’m very very pleased.

I got this statue for my husband as a Wedding Anniversary gift. He considers himself more Buddhist than anything, and he's best when he's centered, calm and himself - so this gift was to help him find his spiritual happiness and sereneness - as he has been pretty stressed out lately. When he saw the box, he knew this was a special gift. It is covered in yellow and orange decorative satin. When he opened the box, the statue was gently tucked in yellow satin. This was a very nice presentation and when he pulled Buddah out, you could see it had exquisite detail of the face, hair, body, hands and feet. Right down to the fingers and toes. The facial expression is calm and serene. The colors and size are very nice, exactly as described. It is a good weight - very solid. It comes with 3 buddhist instruments.My husband appreciated the gift a lot and wanted me to send him all the details from the Amazon listing after putting this out in front of him. He is so much less stressed out now, too. You really can't put a price on the result of this gift, but it is well worth the price.

This is a good quality seated Buddha statue in the dhyana mudra or meditation posture. It comes with three objects--alms bowl, lotus flower and pagoda to be held in the hands, but these are lower-quality than the statue. In addition to meditation, this style Buddha is said to cure disease and deflect bad karma. I haven't noticed any health or fate improvements, but it's attractive anyway.

This is a very good quality, well made Buddha statue. It comes wrapped in an ornate box that is suitable to gift to someone. The seated Buddha also comes with three tiny buddhist items (a little lotus, a bowl and pagoda). I am not buddhist; however, I do have a Buddha statue in my home amongst my houseplants, and I enjoy the peaceful and calm feeling I get every time I see it. This statue gives me the same feeling even more. The design and color is beautiful. Although it seems very solid with a good weight to it, I was still afraid I would break it, so I tried not to handle it very much. I am extremely pleased with this statue.

This is really beautiful from the packaging to the statue itself. It comes beautifully wrapped in a gorgeous and very solid box. The three extra talismans are a nice touch but don’t quite fit in the hands correctly but no biggie. This is a great addition to my collection.

This is a great quality ceramic Buddha. It comes in a protective storage box with a beautiful design. The Buddha is very well made and looks wonderful. This is a wonderful item to add to my curio cabinet.
