Cool watch!
I got this watch for my son, and it’s been such a relief as a parent. The fact that he can call and send little messages from his wrist makes it super convenient, and I love that I can quickly check his location through the GPS whenever I need to. It gives me peace of mind knowing where he is, especially when he’s at school or playing outside with friends. The watch itself feels sturdy and comfortable, and the battery lasts long enough to get through the day. It’s simple enough for him to use on his own but has all the safety features I was looking for. Only downside that I felt is that my son can't type his texts to me, there's only a voice text option or emojis. Other than that, it's definitely worth it for parents who want to stay connected and keep their kids safe without giving them a full phone yet.

GPS tracking is horrible
The GPS is WAY off and I have not been able to correct it no matter what I've tried. Even when my child is in a safe zone at school, it shows in a different state. Virginia and Michigan are not at all close. The video calling is cool and works great but I bought it for a GPS tracker and it is horrible. If you want nothing but a phone with video calling this is great, but location services need a ton of work.

Great watch, especially for special needs
We got this watch for our 7-year-old, who has autism, and it has been well worth the money. The GPS tracking is very helpful—it gives me peace of mind knowing where he is at all times, especially when he’s out playing or at school. He has the tendency to wander and this helps to give more peace of mind. He loves that he can make/receive calls from certain contacts, which makes it super easy for us to stay in touch without the need for a phone. One of his favorite things about the watch is the camera. He enjoys taking pictures of things that catch his attention, and it helps keep him engaged and entertained. It’s a fun feature that also encourages him to focus on what’s around him. The SOS button is another great feature. If he ever feels anxious or needs me, he can instantly reach out with just a press of a button. The watch is simple for him to use and navigate, which is perfect for his age. Plus, it’s durable enough to handle his active play!

Practical Kids Smartwatch with Useful Features
This smartwatch has proven to be a good choice for our child. The soft silicone strap is genuinely comfortable - doesn't cause any skin irritation even with prolonged wear. The bright screen with intuitive interface is great, and our kid especially loves the changeable watch faces with fun animations. There are cute ghosts on the dial. Key features we use regularly: - Camera with shutter sound - takes decent quality photos - Music player - comes with several preloaded tunes - Water lock mode (activated by holding the button for 3 seconds) After disabling water mode, the watch automatically clears water from the speaker - works effectively, tested after rain and hand washing. Updates install with just one tap on the screen. Battery lasts 3-4 days with moderate use. The GPS tracker is accurate, giving us peace of mind. The watch is durable - has survived several drops. Our child is happy with it, and we appreciate the safety features. Good value for money.

PLEASE READ !!! For your child’s safety
I would give no stars if possible. PLEASE READ!!!!! Very important! Do not buy this item. I am a tech savvy individual and mistakenly bought this based off the video calling feature. That said; when unboxing the watch and getting to know it, I began to see red flag after red flag a quickly noticed the security issues. Not only did it have issues pairing ( which it never did ) the website has false advertisements from the company claiming 24/7 support. However, through chat and call there was no support available . confirming all the red flags I saw during the boot up process, and the set up of the app. And just so you are aware I made two separate accounts and was not able to delete either with consistent error codes. I normally do not post however I didn’t want anyone to buy this for their kid seeing as it would be something but to keep them safe. After an hour of troubleshooting, I put the watch back in the box; in the car. Then went right to Best Buy to buy a Fitbit Ace which my child absolutely loves. and I do as well. and trust in the company that makes the watch.

Peace of Mind and Fun in One – Perfect Kids Smartwatch!
I got the myFirst Fone R2 smartwatch for my child, and it has been such a relief knowing I can stay connected anytime. The unlimited talk, text, and video calls (with parent-approved contacts) make communication safe and easy. I really like the real-time GPS and the Safe Zones feature—it gives me peace of mind knowing I’ll be alerted if my kid goes outside the set areas. On top of safety, my child loves using the built-in music player and the 5MP camera to capture fun moments. The heart rate monitor and activity tracker are a nice bonus to encourage an active lifestyle. The watch is durable, designed for kids, and the SOS button adds an extra layer of security. Setup was straightforward with the included guide, and the independent $12/month plan is clear and simple. Overall, this smartwatch balances safety, entertainment, and durability perfectly. Highly recommend it for parents looking for a reliable kids’ smartwatch.

Use a vacation day from work to setup the phone number and subscription plan.
Day 1: non connected phone looks and works well with no issues. Full Setup requires and app and a subscription/plan. Initially we setup the subscription plan several times to no avail. Any customer service phone number prompts you to leave a voicemail. There is chat support through the app but they are only operational during normal business hours. I did discover (before everyone left the office) that i had created several subscriptions due to repeat input. None show in the app which means we can not active the phone portion of the watch. All materials were packed well and parts seem to be generally good quality. My child initially stated it was comfortable and the looks was great. While not a fan of the magnetic charger, i do understand the need due to the size, the shape of the charger connection does ensure even younger children can properly plug it in for the night.

My Daughter Loves This Watch, But Not Easy To Set Up
Overall we like this watch. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t so hard to setup. I love that we can use GPS to track my daughter. My favorite feature is the “ Safe Zone.” With this I can put a barrier around a certain area (like her school) and the app with notify me if she goes outside of it. Another feature I found helpful is that I’m able to preset her texts so I always know what she can say to others. She has fun customizing it and I always get a message when she’s on the bus. I’m able to set a down time for when she’s at school so that no notifications or calls come in and disrupt her class. So far the watch has been very durable. No scratches or dings and it stays well secured to her wrist. This is a wonderful first step for our family before getting her a real phone.

Gets a lot right, but the esim and the battery life are bad
Screen is impressive. App functions well, once you get used to it, but it is a terrible UI design nonetheless. The fact that it is eSIM only model makes it a bit of a problem with regards to how you get it to work with Etisalat or Du. I ended up buying myfirst fone package for the esim, which is data only, so you instantly lose the outright phonecall ability. You can only make data voice and data video calls on this esim package. All of the above can be forgiven. What is a cardinal sin with this watch is the battery life. It literally drains while you look at it. I've never seen anything quite this spectacular in terms of drainage. If you bought this for peace of mind, think again. If a child is lost more than a couple of hours, then that's the battery dying on you just when you need it the most. The GPS accuracy is also phenomenally terrible. It consistently places the child 100 to 200 meters away from where they actually are. All that being said, I've noticed the same type of issues in the reviews of many other models, so it's perhaps too much to ask of a phone watch that provides video calls and GPS, both of which are very demanding on the battery.

NOT WORTH IT
Initially, everything was fine. After 20 days of use, the speaker stopped working, and can no longer make any calls. In addition, the device gets extremely hot , it almost burned my son’s arm. I contacted customer service, and they informed me that I need to ship it to their service center in Singapore for inspection, which would cost nearly as much as buying a new item.
