Haven't tried as an icing spatula but cutting is great
Great for cheesecake, sheet cakes, pies. You can cut and serve much better than trying to manuever a wedge with an edge.

Nice and heavyweight
Love this pie server! I had a plastic one that broke and was glad to find this nice metal one. Has a serrated edge for cutting.

Get this tool.
It’s a great and unique tool that works for pies, cakes, and just about anything in a pie pan. My only gripe is that it’s really ideal for a right handed person since the serrated side is built for a right hand and I’m left handed but that’s about it.

Perfect for lasagna and casseroles
This spatula has a nice serrated edge that really helps with cutting the food rather than tearing it and making a mess. It's also thin enough that it's easy to slide in-between and under the food without messing up the pieces around it.
