Great wind noise reducer
The deadcat fits perfectly onto my rhode pro microphone. Also very easy to install, the only thing I do not like about it, is that it seems to muffle a bit of the sound with the extra covering. Other than that, it works great very affective in reducing the wind noise. We use it for car videos, to be able to record vehicles moving and get the noise of the engine without having to hear the wind in the background.

Full deadcat and not just a sock stile cover for videomic pro plus
Great product with back rubber grip mount that securely attaches to the microphone. I wish the inside was the same material as the regular mic cover but I think is to let more sound in. None the less is the only of it's kind that fits the vmp+ so its worth the extra money instead of spending time trying to fit the sock stile deadcats over the regular mic wind protector.

Video Mic Pro+ Mic Sock Is Great!
Its great for the Rode Video Mic Pro+ it reduces the wind a lot more than the stock mic sock, but I think it is a little over priced but great quality!

Perfect Fit
This is the real deal not some stretch on version that leaves gaps. Recommended!

Excellent mic and excellent wind shield
I'm using the RODE equipment with my Canon EOS R camera. It works great.

Stop most ambient noise
It does what it should. Obviously, it can't stop all wind noise in a strong wind, but it really cuts it back and I can get most of it in post production.

Does what it's supposed to do
Does what it's supposed to do. Does a pretty great job of staying on (only wants to slide off a bit once in a blue moon). Made out of quality material. If you use the settings Rode tells you to use when you have the deadcat on, you won't have any issues with your sound quality.

No noticable improvement compared to standard Rode foam cover.
Not much more to say. I thought I'd be able to hear an appreciable difference shooting video outdoors in windy conditions. If there is a difference, it's so minor my aging ears can't detect it. Stick with the stock foam sleeve and put your money to use elsewhere. By the way, you look ridiculous sporting this squirrel tail on your video rig. Of course, if you like the look, what ever floats your boat...
