I have been using Organic India Amalaki in the capsule form but decided to give the powder a try, as it can be mixed into almost anything and is more of a food nutrient than a supplement. It's a great, absorbable source of vitamin C and I am very pleased with this purchase.

Helped fix my cholesterol. Have tried other brands and they are not as fresh as Organic India.

The trick, if you’re not putting it into capsules, is to dump it on your whole tongue, turning on all the tastebuds vs taking it like a shot/throwing it in the back where your bitter tastebuds mostly are, and then chug water. It’s still not good but at least it’s more tart tasting lol. I took this only for hair benefits and did notice reduced hair fall within a week (will update if I notice any grey hair reversing!) but also I have more energy through the day.

It's not a powder at all, it's very gritty/granular like salt or sugar. It's not an off white/beige-ish color, it's a very strong brown. The taste/smell is that of a strong spice, not sour or tangy like Amla is supposed to be. Not sure what they sold me, but I can't use it, not can it be returned. Honestly, I'd give zero stars if I could.
