Battery Charger BC-ZD1 | Battery Charger for high-Capacity NP-FZ100 Batteries (x2) with USB Power Delivery (PD) Support

The Sony USB PD charger performs as well as the plugged in chargers. It is much better and about twice as fast as a typical generic two battery USB chargers. You do need at least a 30W USB PD charger for 2 batteries at full speed, which is a little over 2 hours for two nearly dead batteries. It is great for travel when you don't have time to wait or find multiple AC outlets.

Works very well. Just make sure you have a cable appropriate for the wattage needed to charge it. Might seem expensive, but what from Sony isn't? This is worth it.

This is a great charger — well-built, reliable, and produces a good charge. It feels sturdy and works exactly as expected. For the price, it’s an excellent value and definitely worth picking up if you need a dependable battery charger. Highly recommend!

If I had known this was available, I would not have bought the Sony BC-QZ1 AC charger, which only charges one battery at a time on AC power. This BC-ZD1 is so much more useful because not only does it charge 2 batteries at a time, but it can do so by USB-C. I can charge at home with AC power, or on the go with a portable power bank. Be sure that your charger or power bank is capable of outputting 30W or greater. That old USB charger that came with your iPhone won't be sufficient. I'm a little surprised Sony didn't include one, considering how expensive this thing is.

Does the job, build quality is good, use a 30W PD charger, it uses max 30W (You can use a power Bank too which supports PD output for up to 30 watt) Does the job, other brands have same chargers at one third the price, with batteries included.

Works as intended!

This charger is smaller than the one that comes with the camera. It charges two batteries and it uses USB-C which opens up all sorts of possibilities for where I can charge when traveling.

Very happy with the charger - it's not cheap, but it's the fastest charger for NP-FZ100 batteries on the market. Plus, being genuine Sony charger, it's safe to use with Sony batteries. It's a pity it doesn't come with a power adapter or a USB cable, you have to get one yourself (in my case, I got IKEA PD USB adapter). But the charging is really fast and saves a lot of time. It should technically work even with laptops that are capable of supplying PD 30W, but I don't have such handy to test.

It’s heavy, made of metal?!? It’s cold to the touch, it can charge 2 batteries at the same time and do it quickly. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t this pricey…

It's ridiculous that the charger doesn't include either a cable or a power adapter. For the price, both should be included What a miserable company!, never again! Buy Canon

This charger is definitely the fastest one out there. It is able to fast charge both of my batteries from dead in about 2.5 hours with a 100W USB PD charger. The only downside is the insane coil whine while charging. It is very noticeable in a quiet room.

I just got 1 of these, and a replacement. NONE OF THEM WORKED... DO NOT GET THEM. WASTE OF TIME. I have a 50W charging cable and charing block, both 50-60W each. None of the chargers work.
