This was a lot of work to put in 830 fibers. But it was worth it. I put this in a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. Put the head unit in the back behind the side panel so it's out of view. The fibers are brighter than I thought the would be. For a moment, I wondered if I should have gone with the 16W version, but overall I'm glad I went with the 20W. The music sync is a little clunky. If you have it turned up all the way, the dimming for quiet spots in the music are almost not noticeable. And if you turn it down too far, it won't light up at all - even with the music very loud. It's nice that there's a remote and an app. It makes it easy to use and adjust. I like the color adjustments. They seem to have a good range of purple, blue, etc. (some kits have a hard time hitting purple, but this one does good. It's only been installed for a couple of months. Time will tell how durable it is. Overall, I'm happy with it, and I feel like it was a good value for the money. I also got the OPT7 underglow and OPT7 under dash kits. Twinkle feature is nice and noticeable. No complaints with this it worked as it should.

Used this with colour leds in projects to have the end of the fibers glow different colours. No issues.

We have a Christmas Village and one of the pieces had burnt out fiber optic. I ordered this, hoping it would do the job, and it did! The pond is back to glowing!

The product arrived as described. As it is intended for future use, all I've done is check to see how well it transmits light, which is: good.
