I like this milk powder and it taste very good

I was pleasantly surprised by how useful this whole milk powder has been. It has a creamy taste and works well for more than just emergency pantry backup. I’ve used it in coffee, oatmeal, baking, and recipes where I didn’t want to open a whole carton of milk, and it mixes pretty well as long as you use warm water and stir it enough. I like that it’s pasture-raised, rBST-free, and doesn’t have a bunch of extra fillers or unnecessary ingredients. The 4 lb bag is a good size and feels like a better value than buying small containers, especially if you use powdered milk often. It’s not exactly the same as fresh milk when drinking it plain, but for cooking, baking, and everyday use, it’s very convenient and tastes better than I expected.

It's also perfect for camping trips or situations where refrigeration isn't reliable. I opted for powdered whole milk over powdered skim milk because I rely on the richness of whole milk in my daily routines, particularly in making my favorite coco mocha, pouring it over breakfast cereal, and using it for cooking. This brand of powdered whole milk exceeded my expectations during my first try. It retains most of the flavor of fresh whole milk and is a breeze to mix. While it doesn't taste exactly like fresh milk, the flavor profile is surprisingly close, making it a great alternative. I highly recommend giving it a try; you might be pleasantly surprised by the flavor, consistency, and affordability it offers.

Great for making coffee creamer with a little sugar and almond or vanilla flavoring. Good to have an unopened bag on the pantry shelf in case of emergency. In baking, undetectable. For creamer, barely detectable if using a flavoring and a sweetener with a water to powder ratio that thickens the creamer. For drinking milk, definitely detectable as reconstituted from dried, but it doesn't have that truly dreadful dried milk taste that many brands have. Would have given 5 stars were it not for the price. Too expensive for me to buy regularly. More than 2.5x the price of fresh milk by the gallon as of April 2026, but I'm buying it for longer term power emergencies so c'est la vie.
