These water leak detection sensors work well. I already had 'dumb' stand alone sensors that don't connect to wifi, but my concern was I would not hear them if I wasn't near by, or outside the house. The X-Sense wifi detector gives me more piece of mind. What I experience: When one of the 3 leak sensors goes off, about 1-2 seconds later the main base also sounds an alarm but much louder and I get a critical alert on my phone from the downloaded app. I worked seamlessly. To test it I dipped on of the sensors in water which initiated the whole process. When I took the sensor out of the water the alarms stopped and I got a new message that the leak had stopped. The sensor alarm is a short repeating beep which is not even as loud as the alarm on my stove. The base alarm is much louder and can be heard all through the house, so place that alarm somewhere central. I like that the base came with a usb cord and power plug. There are buttons on all of the items to silence them, as well it can be done from the app. I also like that the sensors came with AAA batteries included and installed, but that they can be replaced when they eventually die. All of this makes it ready to go easily right out of the box, you just need to download the app and pair all the items. One thing I would like is if more than one email address could be added to the app for an email alert. Overall I'm quite please.

Easy setup. Let's me notifies me if it looses power. So far they are great. They give me peace of mind when not at home. Sensor is loud enough to hear it. They stay connected and they seem to be working accurately.

just bought these a month ago and placed them in locations as instructed. While away on vacation a few weeks ago, received an alert from 1 of these sensors and was able to shut off alarm remotely. The sensor did its job by alerting me immediately after detecting some water entering our cellar from a torrential downpour, allowing me to contact a family member to intervene while i was away. what peace of mind!

Works just as advertised. I didn't want to review it until I had used it, and we set it up with 7 total sensors throughout the house in areas where we thought we might experience leaks. I forgot we even had it until there was a leak in our laundry room. It sounded the alarm in the laundry room, sent me a text message that there was a leak in the laundry room, and the base station notified us as well. What might have been a disaster without the sensors was worth every penny we spent.

I’ve had a good experience with the X-Sense Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector so far. The setup was pretty simple, and the app notifications work well when water is detected. I like that it gives peace of mind for areas like under sinks and near appliances. The sensors seem responsive, and the alarm is loud enough to notice quickly. I’m giving it 4 stars because the app could be a little more user-friendly, but overall it’s a reliable and useful product for home protection.
