What is the weight of the 5-qt Dutch Oven **without** the lid?

husband weight it and it is 3.2 lb

I used my 5 qt dutch oven the 1st time to boil potatoes. I washed the pot & found spots on the inside that cannot be removed. Should I return it?

I purchased a stainless steel 9x13 cookie sheet that I steamed baby potatoes in. S/S seems to mark when you bake/cook in in. Try a small area of "Bar Keepers Friend" powder (can find in larger grocery stores). I only use a small amount with a couple drops of water (make a paste) with a dobie scrub pad. This has worked in every s/s pan I own and it takes off any stain. Remember, only use in a small area at first.

Does the dutch oven come with cover / lid?

I chose the saucier not the dutch oven. It came with a glass lid. I am very pleased with my purchase.
