Great hand held size, volume has a great range, with antenna has clear reception, have only used it with batteries so far, but they do last a long while! Durable construction, basic, simple and easy to use! Gets the job done! Great product, would definitely purchase again!

Excellent little radio! We bought it for the drive in, and for the money its awesome! Good adjustment for volume, super light weight, compact, looks retro, and has held up every time weve used it. My infant knocked it over and it took it like a champ!

Reception in this radio is very good and receives several channels in our area. It is a good radio for the price.

I live out in mountains very had to get stations except with this best ever functioning antena reciever. its small and works well on batery or pluged in. best portable for the money.

Ok for emergency. Have it handy in my bedroom. FM is good! AM is full of static, when plugged in the outlet. I don't have any problems with the batteries, when I need to use it that way.

So much better than my last week radios! My station of choice has a very week signal. This little beast received the signal and it was crystal clear!

This is an EXCELLENT, nicely-made radio that puts out sound well, loud and large, if you want it. Tuning is a breeze. The unit looks sleek and modern, despite the fact that standalone AM/FM radios are an anachronism by this day & age. I only bought this — and paid $4.99 to expedite same day delivery, thanks Amazon! — out of concern for a pet’s welfare, You heard that right, a pet, or more specifically, a nervous, frightened and anxious foster cat I brought home a day ago. I have fostered cats & kittens for many years, but never have had one who has hidden under a piece of furniture for 24+ hrs. A friend suggested I put a radio in the cat’s room & play soft music, what the cat was used to hearing at the shelter. I had no radio, of course…. So Amazon to the rescue. I hope this tactic helps my foster tabby come out from under the furniture and socialize. I can’t wait to give him the run of the house, but he has to emerge from hiding first. I gave this radio only (3) stars because of two things… The most vexing is that the power cord does not firmly plug into its back-of-radio plug / connection. The cord pulled out of the radio a couple of times in just finding a spot to plug it in & setting it on a shelf. Second, the manufacturer opted to put the power cord connection right on the back of the radio! So you can’t put it against a wall in a tight space. Putting the power cord connection on a SIDE of the radio, would have been the intelligent thing to do. So take this with a grain of salt. If you’re looking for good sound and you don’t intend to move the radio & it’s not likely to be jolted wherever you’re using it, then it’s for you.

This product I bought is about one month old and the dials do not connect to the channel. They come on and then click out. No cord came with radio, so it runs on batteries. I would not recommend this product. Now it's too late to return.
