Great throne, at a great price!
I must admit, I was a bit hesitant about buying this throne at first, but I am completely blown away by it. At first I saw "Sound percussion" as its brand name, and that's what threw me the most. I had heard of them, but not a lot. So I wasn't sure what I would be getting into.I was almost adamant that I had to get a ROC-N-SOC nitro, and a back rest, because it was advertised as the most comfortable seat on the market. I was reading reviews like crazy, and I really wanted it, but it was out of my price range by a lot. Then I found this, and was happy to hear that it was a sturdy throne, at a decent price.I think the best way to write this review is to start of with pros. and cons.PROS:The throne is very sturdy.it is cheaper than your high end brands like "pork pie" and "roc-n-soc"comfortablethe seat is a "saddle" style throne (at-least I think that is what its called),so in my opinion, its much more comfortable than a circular one.It does not wobble.CONS:the throne comes in two pieces: the seat, and the base. which I was a bit discouraged at, because it isn't that portable. but hey, I don't even drum in a band or anything, so who am I to care?I want to talk about the aspects of the throne a bit though, because its important.1. the throne is considered "Large," which it is. It can withstand a lot of weight.2. the throne base is EXTREMELY sturdy, and only moves if I move it.3. like I said, it doesn't wobble, and stands up completely straight, unlike my last one, which was a no-name brand stool that tilted sideways just enough to throw out my back if I played the drums longer than 5-10 minutes.I dont think pictures/reviews do this throne justice. it is very easy to adjust, and once you find that perfect height, it stays there and doesn't budge, due a lovely "thread locking" systemlastly, the seat itself. It is very comfortable, and is large enough for me to sit on, and have a decent amount of room to move around on.I dont know if it was made to do this, but it has a slight swivel. it isn't loose enough where it spins sideways while drumming, and its tight enough to stay in place when adjusted.Overall:This is a great throne, at a great price, and I don't think you can go wrong with it for 100 bucks. I only wish that sound percussion would make a back rest for it, for an 30-40 bucks maybe. If they did, this would truly be the best throne out there.EDIT: Just the other day, I was bending over to pick up a stick ( I wasn't sitting down), and I noticed a strange smell. turns out, it was the stool. after close to a month or so of sitting on it, it has started to smell like sweat. of course, I can get really into my drumming sometimes, and after like 20 minutes of constant drumming, im sweating all over. of course, this happens with anystool, but because this throne has like a velvet type top, you can really clean it like you could with leather. But other than that, the stool has no other flaws so far.

Excellent item - easy to install & does the job
I carry 5 lenses with me, 4 in my camera bag and 1 on my Canon 7D. In use, losing a cap is always a worry - as well as worrying about where to stash the loose cap when it's not protecting the lens. These kinds of lens keeper are simple and very useful. The disc sticks to the lens cap, and the elastic band on the other end of the cord goes around the lens - since I use zooms except for a T-S, the elastic usually goes around the zoom ring.I have used this sort of product for over 20 years, maybe 30. Since I'm 70, and have been using fine rangefinders, SLRs and now DSLRs since I was 15, I've been using cap keepers for a very long time. There are only two downsides as I see it: 1) the spongy sticky part dries out after years and years, and the cap falls off; 2) The elastic band stretches out to the point that it slides all over the lens - also after years and years. In spite of the two downsides, I continue to use this sort of product. The elastic in my shorts also stretches to the point of uselessness after years of use. I get new shorts. At the price of shorts, and lens cap keepers, I get my monies worth and continue to buy both shorts and cap keepers. The difference is that now I can buy cap keepers online and no longer have to find that diminishing breed - the brick and mortar camera store. Which came first, the diminishing breed or internet shopping?I expect these cap keepers, which I just purchased, to give me years of service and be a good value of money spent. Plus, I won't misplace a lens cap and have to spend time searching in my shorts for the missing cap and missing a once in a lifetime picture opportunity.Good service. Prompt delivery. Excellent Value. Good product. Can't ask for much more. Well, maybe someone who cleans windows, but that is another topic.

Great for smurf lovers, but these are rather large
I bought these to place on some cupcakes I made for a friend of mine as a silly joke. However, when I received the cupcake rings, they are as promised like the picture but they are HUGE. I had planned to make mini cupcakes but these are far too large for something like that. However, when looking at regular sized cupcakes (think the ones you see in your grocery store bakery) they are still too large for the cake. It will be buried underneath this giant smurf face. These would work well on jumbo cupcakes (which I luckily have a pan for) but I think if you are going to use these for cupcakes, the only way they would not override the cake itself would be to place them on the jumbo cupcakes. However, the detail on the rings is awesome. They actually do look like smurfs and the colors are not all runny and impressionist looking. The one thing I will comment about their size is, your kids can most certainly wear them as rings. They have sizeable finger holes in the back of the plastic that even a teenager could probably wear.Overall, I am quite pleased with this product. What a bargain. Other than size, they are great. If your child adores smurfs, these will make a great addition to their cupcakes.
