Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 24/7 Night & Day Serum For Damaged Hair

As I’m getting older my hair is changing - curlier, dry, frizzy, and not as soft. I used this on my hair overnight then the next morning in the shower used the Redken Frizz Dismiss conditioner. Afterwards I used Frizz Dismiss leave-in mixed with a squirt of this and wow, what a difference. My hair feels and looks so soft and shiny. I’m sold. The smell reminds me of lavender and citrus with woody/sweet undertones? It’s a tolerable smell but quickly seems to dissipate. I’ll definitely buy this again.

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this product. It does seem to really help smooth and tame any damaged ends to create a sleeker healthier look while using the product. I have not noticed that the effect lasts whenever the product isn’t used but maybe with longer consistent results it would. Unfortunately I don’t necessarily like using it all the time because I’ve noticed that it makes my hair feel dry to the touch even though it makes it look smooth (I know, that doesn’t really make sense but it is the truth!). I’m not sure if it is actually drying my hair out or only feels that way when the product is on my hair but I don’t want to take the chance because my hair is naturally a bit more dry (it takes FOREVER to feel greasy or oily) and more so in the winter. Therefore I use it sparingly and only when nothing else with smooth down some of the slightly damaged ends. I think for some hair types this might be great especially those that tend to get greasy or have a ton of damage, I don’t have a ton of damage nor is my hair oily so I just might not have the hair this is intended for. I’m disappointed because there is a lot of hype over it with people seeming to have great results and I’m not getting what the hype is about. It’s not a bad product persay but it’s not what I was expecting either. For the price I was hoping for something that gave better results. I’ll still keep it because it does have its uses but I probably would not purchase again.

Ho dei capelli mossi molto crespi/frizzy, difficili da controllare, e anche se indecisa sull'acquisto per via del prezzo alto credo di aver fatto un buon investimento. Per capelli rovinati è ottimo, basta una piccola quantità per renderli più idratati e meno crespi.

Love this product and will be repurchasing. I’ve dyed my hair for 20 years so the ends do need some TLC from time to. This really helps recover my hair and ands a lovely soft floss
