Protection and relief for painful mouth sore
Thought this has been discontinued but luckily still available on amazon. Great for mouth ulcers especially overnight in my opinion. Easy to use just put some on, and it dries quickly into a cover over the sore area. Very effective. Doesn't taste nice but not bad either. Good pain relief and provides comfort. Good for kids as well.

The best treatment for ulcers
Cursed with an incredibly annoying chocolate allergy which took me a long time to realise was the cause of my constant mouth ulcers. I have been dealing with some pretty severe ulcers for decades. I get ulcers fairly regularly even without chocolate, but itโs the chocolate ulcers which burn and sting and affect my day to day life. I generally get them on my tongue, which affects my speech, causes drooling, and makes me wince in pain either from (frequent) contact with teeth or food being eaten. The ulcer in the attached photo was brought on by accidentally licking the inside of a strawberry cornetto cone whilst enjoying the ice cream on top (the inside of the cone has a thin layer of chocolate). Literally the next morning I wake up with that familiar burning sensation and realise I have run out of Iglu. Apparently they donโt sell it in the shops local to me anymore for some reason, and as usual itโs Amazon to the rescue. Iglu is a barrier cream. Itโs not medicated. Essentially you are covering your ulcer with a layer of a waxy substance which protects the ulcer from contact from drinks or foods being consumed. We all know the struggle of enjoying a meal with an ulcer, this ulcer treatment doesnโt numb unpleasant sensations, it prevents them from happening in the first place. Application is as simple as adding a small blob to a fingertip, pushing it onto the ulcer (coating it in the process) and then using your own saliva to set the cream. Once it has set, you can eat or drink with almost no awareness of the ulcer, even spicy foods. Obviously eating causes abrasion, so it may need re-applying afterwards. But it generally easily lasts long enough to enjoy a full meal before needing to be re-applied. Take this from someone who has lived with ulcers for longer than I can remember, this works, nothing else comes close

This stuff is amazing, works wonders tbh. Can eat and drink without pain again.
I was hospitalised with supraglottitus, never heard of it either, several throat infection causing it to close among other symptoms. My mouth was overrun with ulcers, inside my lips, on my gums tongue and upper throat. After the ulcers started to recede I was released on antibiotics. But at home ulcers increased and some were really big, eating and speaking near impossible. I've been putting this on a collection of ulcers where my front jaw/gums meets my upper lip, right in the joint between the two and on a huge one on my lower lip, about 15mm long. Also on the underside of my tongue, about 15mm also but that's impossible to measure. Also on 2 on the top of my mouth, around 5mm each. The rest are too far back to comfortably deal with Anyway this stuff is a revelation. My case is extreme I know but this changes everything. It forms a coating, it's awkward to get in tight spots with a finger so use something else, flatter, fork or teaspoon handle if you've flat got flat ones. It forms a strange coating over the ulcer as soon as your spit touches it and it's incredibly good. I can drink a cup of tea, eat a banana and not be in agony from the covered ulcers. It lasts a long time, several hours on the lips. The under tongue one was trickier and that lasts long enough to get through a brew and a small meal, the flex down there is extreme after all. I 100% recommend this to everyone and I sincerely wish my doctors had told me about it. It is odd feeling but so much better then the pain which it immediately relieves simply by cutting out the friction and influx of solid and liquids as you drink and eat. Cheap as chips at this price, no proper taste or, no bad smell, easy to use after a bit of practice too. If possible dry the area you're applying it, that hurts I know, once you've smeared this on let the spit roll over it, don't rub it with a spit covered tongue or finger, let the liquid flow over it and it'll make a seal as a rubbery soft coating.

Seal well but doesnโt heal well
It is a thick paste that seal your ulcer instead of healing it. I had to read the full instruction to use it, a bit tricky to use. The paste has a sticky texture and a mild minty taste. It often sticks my inner lips and gums together then I realise Iโm supposed to saliva up. Did still take me days for my ulcer to heal. Not as effective as other ulcer ointment but definitely helps a lot with the pain.

The Magice Ulcer treatment.
OMG - it is being sold again. If you get the odd ulcer and they do hurt like hell - one blob of this on the ulcer after drying the area off is pure divine. The ulcer has usually gone the day after and doesn't hurt anymore as it has a very thick sticky consistency with dries in your mouth and doesn't come off.

Works as advertised
Does the trick! Used only a few times. No specific taste or other issue. Pretty much works as advertised

Mint flavoured but works okay
Anyone who's ever had a mouthsore knows that one of the biggest issues is eating... and eating with thick minty glu in your mouth isnt great. So now I have to eat all my meals with added mint flavour... There probably isn't a way around making it so thick and sticky because that's sort of the point, but they could have at least made it flavourless. It does work to prevent mouthsores getting more damaged during eating and sleeping though. It doesn't have any healing properties but doesn't claim to.
