Price is fine. The bristles really get in there and get those snarls. I have wavy and curly hair and using a boar brush it does NOT pull on the snarls, nor snag. It's painless. I couldn't believe it. I was never taught to start at the ends and work your way up getting snarls out. I learned on my own and of course that helps with but this brush is swift, it quickly gets them out. I love this brush. And yes, it really does move the oil from scalp down the strands..though my guess is if I didn't wash a 3rd & 4th day, then brushing again on those days would bring all the oil down to the ends. I cannot go that long without washing. I may twice a month make a point to skip a day. And also, my hair is super soft after brushing, especially where the oil has been brushed outwards.

Excellent brush for fine or thin hair. The natural boar bristles feel gentle, smooth out tangles, and add a nice shine without pulling. Feels high-quality and works beautifully for daily use. 4 stars because it does not get huge knots out and I have to use a different brush to work those out.

Love this brush so much! The bristles are stiff enough to reach through the thickness of my hair (which is straight and not terribly thick) without being scratchy. The bristles are securely attached and there has been minimal shedding. I believe the bristles to be genuine; it smells like a pig when I wash it! It’s been the perfect boar bristle brush for me.

This brush is fabulous !! My hair has improved in the short time that I've owned it. I'm glad I found it, and wouldn't trade it for any other brush on the market.

If you have any sort of coarse/ curly/ thick hair stay away. It’s a great product but your hair won’t actually make it through the bristles. I would need thicker strands/ more pieces to it, but great for slick backs!

I have very thick, curly, coarse hair, and this brush is a game changer! I just bought my second one to replace my first (it didn’t break, I just wanted a fresh start). It leaves my hair so soft and smooth and completely gets rid of my flyaways and frizz.

For this price, this brush is absolutely amazing. The person I gave it to has very thin hair and hated brushing their hair. This brush has changed absolutely everything. It is super high quality and you will love it. The only option better than this is a mason pearson at $600 - which I have so I can tell the difference. I bought mine 15 years ago for $200 and my family thought I was crazy. But look at the prices now! Buy this one instead you'll be happy!

This boar bristle hair brush is a very good quality. I much prefer it to a plastic one. It does a good job of keeping my hair tangle free. The bristles are very secure and don't fall out. I put a few drops of hair oil on it each day and this brush applies it very well. I liked this brush very much at first but after a few months the bristles started to fall out in clumps. I had to throw it in the garbage so now I need a new hairbrush.
