Loved it -- for 3 months
At first this scale was perfect for making pour-over coffee. I loved how easily I could reset tare at each step and appreciated the convenience of the built-in timer. But after three months' use the tare function began to deliver inconsistent readings. At first I thought it might be the protective plastic mat, but even without the mat the readings changed. For example: For pour-overs I use 25 gr of coffee beans, measured in a plastic beaker. If the initial weight comes up 27 gr and I lift the beaker and shake out a few beans, instead of going down the next reading will go up to 28 or 29 gr. I always use the scale on a flat counter, but the readings change even if it has not been moved or bumped.

Got this to make the perfect cup of coffee....but.....
I find I grab this scale ALL THE TIME ! Love the fact you can switch from grams to oz, seems very accurate. I have so many recipes my European friends send me for meals, but never had a way to accurately convert to USA measurements, now I don't have to do that any more, I simply select the grams function and away I go! I would buy this scale again in a second, well worth the investment!
