The main reasons that I chose this endoscope are: 1. Most endoscopes come with 8mm diameter camera lenses, but this endoscope has a 5.5mm diameter camera lens which allows it to fit in tight spaces. 2. The endoscope can be detached from the monitor display unit. It has a USB-C connector so it can be plugged into a Windows PC and mobile devices that have USB-C ports. 3. The dual lens design allows the front camera and the side camera to be viewed simultaneously (well, not quite but I'll talk more about this later). The package still includes the side mirror attachment, but it's really not needed since there is a side camera already. 4. The stand-alone display monitor eliminates the need for a mobile device and has the capability to record videos and snap photos. A 32GB MicroSD card is also included. The built-in rechargeable battery provides adequate amount of usage time. Now, the shortfalls: 1. The monitor display unit can't display both cameras at the same time. There is a camera view switch button to switch between the front and the side cameras. The product description claims by cycling through the camera views, the dual cameras can be displayed. However, when I switched to the dual camera view, the display monitor showed nothing but a black screen. I tried to adjust different camera resolutions in the settings menu, but it didn't help. 2. There is no LED status lights but the user manual and the product support video showed that there should be LED lights to provide the power on/off status as well as the charging status. Without the charging indicator LED light, I have to periodically power on the display monitor to check on the battery charging status and disconnect the charger when I see the full battery icon. 3. This is minor but the labels for the MicroSD slot and the Power are swapped (see photo). Why 5 stars? I reached out to the customer support, and they immediately responded by offering to send me an updated version of the product for free. They shipped an ES03 model (Amazon item number B0DK93J5WN) which has a 5" screen the next day. The new model has LED status lights and the labels for the MicroSD slot and Power port are correct. However, the new model still can't display both cameras at the same time. It seems this is a limitation of the display monitor itself. To get around this problem, I downloaded a free Android app called "Endoscope Camera" for my Android phone. This app recognized the endoscope immediately and is able to display both cameras by default. I didn't try the DLScope app as instructed in the user manual because the QR code took me to a web site to download the app, and I didn't feel comfortable installing an unknown app outside of the Google Playstore. Overall, this is a great endoscope with a dedicated monitor display, but I would recommend getting the ES03 model. It's currently on sale at a lower price than this ES02 model. It has a slightly bigger screen and has the LED lights which are crucial to me because it allows me to tell when the charging is completed.

It's a little gem in the thick of Amazon market place. After a little browsing, acquired this scope for some DIY around the house. The best is it allows you to connect the scope to its own screen/controller plus cell phone or computer. Good price, for such a versatile device, certainly made the choice easy. Device feels pretty solid & well made all around. Easy to operate with the polished and sturdy attachments provided. Time will tell how long this thing will last in the long run; but, so far so good. Certainly recommend this device at this point.

This ended up being more useful than I expected. I bought it after reading reviews saying it was a solid “good enough” inspection tool, and that’s exactly what it is. The image quality isn’t professional-grade, but it’s more than clear enough to see what you’re doing in tight spaces. Where it really shines is situations like working around the bellhousing and torque converter bolts without a lift. Those upper bolts near the firewall are usually a knuckle-busting nightmare, but being able to see what I’m doing instead of working blind made a big difference. This would work really good on jeep A/C blend mode actuators! Also good for checking oil cooler leaks on the Pentastar engine! The built-in screen is a huge plus—no messing with apps or connections, just turn it on and go. The cable takes a little getting used to, but once you figure out how to guide it, it does the job. It’s not a heavy-duty shop tool, but for jobs like this it saves time, frustration, and your hands. For the price, it’s a practical tool to have around, especially if you’re doing work in tight or awkward spots. After using it for a bit... I wish it also came with a second shorter 3 foot long camera or one was available for purchase. OF NOTE: Could not figure out how to switch between main and side camera? Switching is accomplished by using the right side button on the pad short presses invert and flip the screen, Long presses switch the camera, this is not explained in the instructions.

Okay, but menus are hard to navigate and cable is thick, heavy, and stiff. Returned and bought something better.

Purchased this Endoscope camera to check some areas in my garage with out removing drywall. This camera system is amazing. Really clear picture. Easy to work and checkout hidden stuff. It's easier to patch a 3/8 inch hole than to remove large pieces of drywall. If you need this type of a camera strongly recommend it. You will get a decent Endoscope camera that is very well priced. Thank you Amazon.

The one they sent me is completely different than the one shown. Picture quality is maybe 10yrs back type quality. The description says 1080 but the booklet that comes with it says 480p on the resolution. Its going back...
