Prepare for slaughterfest of pedts!!!
Works better than described but one thing!…. Be ready for the aftermath of unalived pests that will riddle your floors!! Haven’t reached halfway point to know if the pressure runs out like other clients have stated. Hope it doesn’t!!

Great Product, Terrible packaging
Gentrol itself works very well—the product does exactly what it promises when it comes to eliminating bugs. I was really pleased with the results the first time I used it. Unfortunately, the packaging ruins the experience. The last two cans I purchased stopped working while still more than half full. The sprayers simply would not release any product, no matter how I tried to fix them. At $23 per can, this is unacceptable. Not only is it frustrating to pay for product you can’t use, it’s also incredibly wasteful to throw away half-full cans. For something marketed at a premium price point, I expect more reliable packaging. Gentrol is effective, but unless the company improves the quality of the cans and spray nozzles, I can’t recommend it. Customers shouldn’t have to gamble on whether or not their can will actually work.

Good for phorid flies, not for drain flies.
I bought the Gentrol insect spray to deal with an infestation of phorid flies. After ruling out the drains as the source (using another product)I wasn't able to pinpoint the source of the infestation, so I sprayed it in several suspect areas of damp in my kitchen and bathroom. I like that it sprayed on white, so I could see where I'd sprayed, and then it dried clear. Between glue traps, a bug zapper and the spray, I was able to eliminate the phorid fly infestation. Unfortunately, the phorid fly larvae had been eating the drain fly eggs/larvae, because once the phorid flies disappeared, the drain flies came out. Not nearly as many, but the Gentrol spray didn't work on the drain flies. So, good product, but only for specific uses. Note: The spray interrupts the reproductive cycle of the phorid files. It doesn't kill them directly.

Saved my home!!!!
Two years ago my daughter begged me to allow a homeless friend of hers to move in to our home. In typical no good deed goes unpunished fashion she brought German roaches with her. We saw the first roach a couple weeks after she moved in and the kept getting progressively worse. We are not dirty people but tI still could not get rid of these bugs. I literally tried everything in the local market. I spent well over a 1000 dollars on bug bombs sprays baits and gels. each one would reduce the number of bugs for a short time but they never went away and then after a short time they were back. I tried calling professionals but they just tried to rope me into a one year expensive "abatement" contract where they were unwilling to promise results. A friend told me about combining Advion Cockroach Gel with Gentrol (buggy birth control). I put down new advion and sprayed Gentrol every week for a month. When I first used advion I actually saw more bugs for a week but they were zombie bugs. Staggering around even during the day and eventually dying. They were easy to step on because they were slow and disoriented. So I would recommend timing it so you have at least 2 weeks with no guests. But by week 3 I was only seeing them if I looked really hard, and it was a bad infestation, so bad I was ready to sell my house. I have not seen a single bug in a week. It is like I can finally breath again. I can not say if this would work in an apartment unless you treat the whole building. But this defiantly worked for my house. But again it is the combination of advion and gentrol that gets the results. Advion kills most of the roaches even resistant ones. The gentrol keeps the eggs from hatching and makes the few that survive the poison sterile so it does not start again.

Takes A While But Definitely Works
It took about six weeks but subsequently to strategically spraying IGR around my former apartment 99% of the German roaches were gone. I've tried everything else to hardly any avail ranging from baking soda on the floors and in the drains, to Raid Home Perimeter and Baits, essential oils and citrus as fragence insect detterients, etc. After I incorporated this within the first two weeks started noticing roaches with crooked wings which than I knew this was starting take affect for when German roaches have crooked wings that mean the product was successful in sterilizing them thus making it impossible for them to reproduce. Probably would've worked faster if the source of the infestation was from my apartment but they were trickling to my side of the apartment from the neighbor's apartment which is why it took longer I believe for this product fully sterilize all the adult roaches. This is also compatible use alongside roaches baits too. This along with roach bait definitely do the trick and save you $100s from not having call a professional pest control. This product is actually the same product that some of the professionals use so you're cutting out the middleman by simply spraying it strategically around your place or business yourself.

One canister I bought was dysfunctional...
I’ve bought three canisters of this stuff. It’s done a pretty good job of helping us manage a drain fly problem, but hasn’t completely resolved the issue. The second canister I bought was completely useless. There seemed to be some kind of manufacturing error with the canister because hardly any spray would come out, even when you pressed really hard. I had to throw it away when it was only halfway through because it just sort of dribbled and sputtered. I had no problems with the first and third canisters.

PLEASE READ - THIS SAVED MY LIFE. HAD SEVEREEEE ROACH INFESTATION
If you think you just can’t get rid of roaches, think again!! I am not exaggerating when I say I had a severeeee infestation. It got to the point our appliances messed up because of the roaches. We had to get a new microwave TWICE, the oven messed up so we bought a new one, then two of the NEW oven burners went out, EVEN THE FRIDGE STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. The oven repair man even confirmed the roaches messed up the burners. They would go into the appliances. They even messed with the asthma of someone in the house. Then the stench began. We couldn’t even invite people over. We tried so much - bug spray, baits, gas. We could just never keep up. Finally, I did some research and came across this. THIS SAVED MY LIFEEEEE A TRUE GAME CHANGER WHY DIDNT I FIND IT SOONER this in conjunction with baits, the patch version thing of this, and a kitchen safe intesticide changed everything. Finally, we could tackle the bug population by targeting what existed instead of the never ending growing. The results really showed after two months but even more as the months progressed. Even up to 8-9 months. So BE PATIENT. We also minimized kitchen mess and cleaned up more. And we did it before going on vacation for a few weeks which helped a lot too but THIS is what really helped. Trust me. It’ll help as the months go on. Now, I’m going to Do a second go though I rarely see a roach but to complete the process. And I could have done a more aggressive approach to see even faster results but we have to limit chemicals with two people here having asthma. Anyway 11/10 recommend!!!
