What diameter pole will I need ?

A 50mm pole will be fine to support this mirror. If you can find a 60mm one (we couldn't) that will also be good. The length of the pole we used was 2500mm.

Fittings are for pole, so the mirror can be moved round to provide the best angle. To convert to wall fixing, you would need a large right angle bracket to fix to the back of the mirror, and have part of it visible above or below to attach to the wall. DIY stores do have this sort of fitting, if you take the mirror with you.Graham

Hello, I need a fixing bracket to mount the mirror on a pole in the ground (there wasn’t one in the box) . Please advise thx

It's not clear if the small diameter bracket was included. We mounted on a wider lamppost (120mm) opposite by, making a suitable bracket, any metal worker or good handy man could do this. In our case there was no off the shelf bracket suitable, the one supplied with the mirror was suitable for a 50mm wide pole only.

Where can I buy a metal pole from, for a traffic mirror?

I'm sorry I can't really help you with this. We had someone fit the mirror and he provided the pole, so I'm not sure where he got it from. If you check the internet there are places which will supply a pole. They're generally galvanised and unpainted, so we got ours painted grey which is a similar colour to the poles the Council use.
