Galago Black Glass TV/Hi-Fi Stand

Despite the box clearly having taken a few knocks in the back of the delivery van the stand was in perfect condition once unpacked. Beware of a mistake in the instructions which tells you to connect up the threaded bolts before proceeding to add some of the spacers and shelves. I had to backtrack and disconnect them as the holes in the shelves are too narrow to permit the hexagonal threaded nuts to pass through.Looks terrific once built, appears more expensive than it cost. The cable tidy panel at the back is a bit flimsy but it does the job. In the 5 shelf configuration it doesn't cover the uppermost shelf but I guess that's a consequence of the system being capable of making a 4 shelf stand too.I've got a vintage Hi-Fi setup that consists of very large and heavy components. The shelves accommodated all my kit and took the weight easily. Just beware if you have more than 1 component that is in excess of 20cm tall - only the lowest shelf (or the top-most) can accommodate something that tall. Feels very sturdy and secure once it has the weight of your kit on it. Very happy with it indeed!

The stand is used for a Tivo, PS3, Cinema surround system with a light on the top plinth. We ellected to use just the 4 shelf option and it looks great beside the wall mounted flat screen.The cable tidy at the back does not fit the 4 shelf arrangment (only the 5 option) but that is of no great concern.It was easy to assemble - hollow aluminium large bore tubes containing a threaded rod to keep the shelves in tension.It arrived in a substantial box and the instructions were ok (not great but usable). I managed to assemble it on my own but make sure you assemble it on a carpet (soft surface).The shelf arrangement is fab, classy and cool and a fraction of the price of contempory units.

Packaging very poor.I am surprised the product arrived intact.Relatively easy to assemble.Overall TV/Hi fi stand looks a very classy product when assembled.

Very easy to follow assembly instructions and the finished item is great for its purpose. Only one small point in that the board at the back could be a bit wider to hide more cables (where they are long and coiled). Other than that a great music stand which arrived bang on time!

Generally these stands are very overpriced so this seemed fair value. The smoked glass shelves are very heavy (package would have been difficult to move far) and the chrome supports between them are flimsy. Several chrome tubes arrived bent and/or distorted and had to be bent back in to shape in order to assemble the shelves. We didn't worry about this too much as the unit is in a cupboard but if we had wanted it in full view, or needed to move it frequently it might have been more of an issue.

Excellent. Very easy to put together. Looks good, Very study, No wobble if put together correctly.If I had the need I would purchase another unit.

This is an excellent product. Easy to assemble and very sturdy once complete. Purchased for bedroom to accommodate 27" Tv, cable box, blu ray and a mini hi fi. This still leaves a shelf to spare as built it as the 5 shelf version. Looks really good and good value for money.

Ein sehr schönes Regal, das in ca. einer halben Stunde aufgebaut ist. Die Rohre sind allerdings sehr dünn, aber das merkt man nachher nicht mehr. Alle teile haben gepasst. Das Bild bei Amazon ist aber falsch, denn der Kabelkanal umfasst nicht die zweitoberste Ebene. Das liegt daran, dass das regal auch mit nur 4 Böden aufgebaut werden könnte. Dann würde der Kabelkanal ja oben herausschauen. Ist aber letztlich ok, die Kabel sieht man eh nicht, auch wenn das Gerät auf der zweiten Ebene steht, da es sofort "nach unten" fällt. Alles in allem ein Top-Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Dieses Media Regal hat unsere Ansprüche komplett erfüllt und es ist sehr schnell aufgebaut. Noch dazu ist genug Material vorhandei,um es in 4 oder 5 Stufen aufzubauen. Es passt perfekt in unser Wohnzimmer,es ist stylisch und erfüllt den Zweck mehrere Geräte übereinander unterzubringen. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder bestellen,deshalb volle Punktzahl :-). Verpackung und Versand erhält ebenfalls volle Punktzahl,womit wir als Amazon Kunden aber noch nie Probleme hatten. Danke dafür.

it is a good looking racket but watchout when moving the racket because the feet are from plastic and can easily break
