BYOMA Brightening Body Lotion

One of my favorite body lotions (great for hands too- silky smooth with no weird tackiness like some body lotions when used on the hands)! I’ve purchased twice which is really rare for me because I like trying new products. Makes skin feel incredibly soft and silky with no greasy feeling left behind (layers beautifully over body serums/oil). I do feel like it helps brighten and refine skin texture, I don’t necessarily need a lot of improvement in this area so I can’t say it’s a miracle worker but for me it definitely helped perk up my skin making it look healthy, glowy, and just more bright and clear (especially on hands, chest, and shoulders). Zero sensitivity or reaction and I tend to have issues with body lotions causing some redness and rashes. I also love the fragrance, it’s incredibly light and not overpowering but it smells amazing. I’m not even sure what the scent is but I’m calling it happiness in a bottle because it is actually kind of uplifting and calming like a deep breath of fresh air (even though that’s not at all the scent lol); since it’s not overwhelming it plays really well with other perfumes and almost just seems to enhance other scents. I also use the body wash with the same great results. Highly highly recommend! Also you just can’t beat the price for the amount of product you get! TIP once you can’t pump anymore out definitely open it up because there will still be a lot of product left. That’s my only complaint with this one but, honestly, it’s not any worse than other pump bottle lotions because there’s always so much left! Also, I’m 41 and feel like this is great for “mature” skin or young adults and teenagers. My skin isn’t necessarily showing a lot of aging but I’m still 41 and it works so well!

I am genuinely in love with this lotion. It is my favorite product I've ever gotten for my body. I've tried a bunch of lotions, oils, scrubs, etc. but nothing has ever beat this one. I plan to keep it in my roster for as long as possible. It is not greasy at all and absorbs very quickly. It makes my skin feel soft and hydrated for the full day until my next shower, then I apply it again. I am trying to get rid of an uneven tan and have noticed a very slight brightening effect, and I actually feel much more comfortable with this than something irritating that works too fast. It smells very good, though smell is subjective, but the scent doesn't last too long which I actually prefer. I could not recommend this lotion more, and plan to try other BYOMA products because of it.

This lotion is amazing! It feels light going on but delivers great hydration. The only downside is the packaging. The pump gives out while there’s still plenty of lotion left. It would be nice ifBYOMA would revise the bottle design or ant least include a spatula to help get the rest out. If they did that, I would definitely give this lotion a five star rating.

I really love this! And big thank you to the other reviewer who mentioned the smell is fresher and more unisex kind of like shampoo or a nice smelling hand soap. The brightening body wash smells a little bit more like lemony and I like it OK. I much prefer the gentle soapy smell and rich lather of moisturizing body wash. But I’m very happy with this lotion!! It goes on very nicely. Super smoothing but not greasy. The smell is nice, but it doesn’t last forever either! Highly recommend overall.

So far this lotion is very brightening and moisturizing however, I’m not crazy about the smell. It doesn’t stink or anything it’s just not for me or my body chemistry. Would love to see different smell options, especially more woodsy musk smell. That said… I only want those smells because this lotion is actually my new favorite. Been using over 3wks now & my skin feels & looks much healthier. I also now use their face moisturizer …it’s my new holy grail! I just use with my VS body sprays & it mixes very well

I’ve started using Korean skincare products and they have made a huge difference in how skin looks and feels. I have dry sensitive skin and this lotion does not irritate it at all. This lotion glides on smoothly and as it absorbs into your skin making it feel silky and it dewy fresh. Other products of the similar quality sell for twice as much, so I consider Byoma a much better deal and a true value for my dollar. The fragrance is light and it disappears after a few minutes.

Saw this on the today show. I bought the lotion and the oil. I liked the feel of both. It is very hydrating, but so fragrant that I can’t wear it. My husband put it on and its still so nauseatingly fragrant. Into the garbage it went.!!!

This cream is really lovely, when I got it the size was excellent value for money, I have used it now for some time and if definitely improved my skin texture, the dryness of my skin disappeared and it became softer, I have run out of it now and guess what my skin has slowly become a dry texture again, I'm going to order several bottles now as this has proven it is thoroughly effective, it's very easy to use with the pump system, the smell is a nice light fragrance which I like a cream to have overall I'm very impressed with the quality, going to always have this in my bathroom from now on.

Lovely and hydrating. If you have very dry skin and I’m sure this would be heavy enough but it is enough for my normal skin. Has a very subtle scent and absorbs very quickly and isn’t stinky.

I love this moisturiser! I’m a hairy guy and struggle to find body lotion’s that don’t slick my body hair down and make me feel overly oily. My skin feels soft and it absorbs really quickly. The fragrance isn’t strong and I’ve had compliments of how my skin smells and looks. My only critiques are that the pump stopped working as the product began to get low, but when I eventually (it was a struggle) to get the bottle open it had a fair bit of product left. The pump also doesn’t have a lock mode so taking it away when travelling could be risky if something manages to press the pump down.
