Yes, I use it for Jiu-Jitsu and they have held up well. I think it would be perfect for volleyball. I have the ones with the hinges for the extra support. If I was to do it over again I would order directly from the OEM web site. The ones I ordered off of Amazon looked like open boxes and one looked like a return. I responded back to the supplier with not response from them.
