Easy set up and great picture.
This Tv has completely exceeded my expectations. The set up was really easy for me. The picture quality is stunning with vibrant colors, and incredible clarity that makes movies, sports, and gaming look amazing. The sound quality is surprisingly powerful for a flat-screen TV, delivering clear dialogue and immersive audio without needing speakers. What really stands out is the value for the money. The build quality feels premium, the performance is excellent, and it competes with much more expensive models. It connects seamlessly with my streaming devices and mobile devices without any issues. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, high quality entertainment experience.

The intense amount of quality for the absolutely ridiculously low price is wildly good
This thing is absolutely magnificent. I mean, you've got to be a complete idiot. Not to buy it period and a story. It's outrageous for basically a 160 or a 180 bucks. You're getting a 50 inch 55 inch, like it doesn't even make sense not to get it period the picture quality is pretty much completely legit. I mean, if you buy a $180.55 inch TV. And you get this picture quality, it is a little slow on the back end for like loading its apps or whatever. But like when it gears in, this is ridiculously good. I mean, the sound oddly enough is good. There's not many adjustments. You can make, but it's easy to work with you. Just connect to the Bluetooth. It basically prompts you to do everything you need. It makes no sense for people to be writing reviews about. Oh, I couldn't get to the Bluetooth. I could, it literally tells you exactly what to do. It's extraordinarily easy to set up. It's got multiple different channels automatically that are free for you, which I barely watch. But I mean, throw on a 4K YouTube video, throw on. If they have it a four k amazon video we're talking, the quality is wildly good deep blacks. There is a little bit of ghosting if you're watching an older movie or like something that you know, you're just pulling off of your pc into your t.V or through your phone like screen, mirroring or whatever, but this is an excellent product. There's no doubt about it legitimately. It's an absolutely excellent product.I think it was probably one of the best purchases i've made in twenty twenty six without a doubt.I 'm probably going to buy two more.Buy the seventy five inch or the seventy inch. And then i'm gonna buy probably a sixty inch, like it just makes sense. What are we talking about here? It's brilliant

Purchased in Nov. 2025. SO MANY problems. Detailed Review. Do NOT buy!
I have 2 other Insignia TVs that I purchased in 2020. Neither is a FireTV - Just regular TVs and they work great - still. I was looking for a larger TV and I had zero reservations about buying Insignia again. I was hugely surprised that I had an absolute miserable experience to set it up and later, watch. Problem 1: Wouldn’t connect with remote. Contacted Amazon via chat. Was told to unplug TV. Didn’t work. Unplugged again. Didn’t work. Unplugged modem and router. Connected to remote. Problem 2: Wouldn’t play Amazon Prime. Called this time. Spoke to first Amazon rep for over an hour. Got disconnected. Called back. Another hour. The guy couldn't recommend anything other than what the first Amazon guy said which was to disconnect my router and modem, unplug the TV and try again. The TV gets to a screen that says it "needs an update." Click on it to start the update which takes forever and then the TV restarts on its own and returns you back to the original blacked out "apps" that it is supposed to support (you can't see them, but they are supposedly there). Tried several times, and it kept going through the same cycle of "needing an update, waiting for 45 min for the cycle, restarting TV." Problem 3: Amazon phone rep asks for serial number which I read to him from a photograph I took of the back of the TV. He says it’s invalid. What I read to him clearly says "Serial Number" plus it had a manufacture date of June 2025. He asked me to send him the photo as he couldn't validate the serial number. I also gave him my Amazon order number. He said the photo shows another serial number - smaller and way less obvious - with a manufacture date of 1 year earlier (2024!) than the larger, central label with the "invalid serial number." What's going on with that Amazon? Are you slapping on a year younger serial number and manufacture date to make the TV look newer and not like it's one that has been in your store room for over a year? I bought the thing 24 hours ago. Problem 4: There is no user manual. Problem 5: The power cord hole to plug in is hidden with absolutely no reference on any of the 2-page pamphlet where it is located on the back of the TV. Other reviewers have mentioned this. If I didn't read a customer review, I never would have found the power connector. It's vertical! There's an indentation on the left side of the TV as you are facing the back. Hidden at the top of it (it's totally concealed - feel with your finger for it) is the input for the electric cord. Problem 6: Once started - there's still the issue of it going thru different screens with rectangles of the supposed apps it has all blacked out so you can’t see which app it is. No icons. Problem 7: When you finally get it to work and see the apps - and let's say you choose a movie on Amazon Prime - if you put it on "pause" and leave the room to get a snack , the TV will turn itself off. When you turn it back on you won't see the movie, but instead the home screen with all the apps. When you choose "Amazon Prime Video" to get your movie - the thing doesn't even show you the movie at this point. You have to use the search function to find said movie. The only saving grace is that when you find the movie, it does let you resume from where you left off. Other reviewers have noted that there is no setting to avoid the heavy lifting of trying to find your movie again. The auto shut-off engages to "save power" according to the other reviewers. I haven't experienced it shutting off while I'm watching a movie - only when I put it on "pause." As others have said, the interface is super sluggish. It takes a while to load whatever app you choose. Unless you enjoy wasting your life in the set up process (I cannot understand how folks say it's "easy" to set up - and I am pretty tech savvy), I wouldn’t recommend buying this TV. I, myself, am going to watch it daily for the next 2 weeks to see if it starts having the screen issues that others reported. In this way my return window is still open. BTW - TV size is measured on the diagonal. Some reviewers have measured the length of the TV and reported an incorrect size. Also don't be fooled by the $169 "sale price" or "cyber Monday" or "Black Friday" or whatever title is given to the price. The price is and was $169 for the 50" TV for a while (just go to "price history" and you can see it for this and any product sold on Amazon). Hope that helps all of you considering this set. If I had to do it over again, I'd suggest another manufacturer.

Great TV. Highly recommend
We were moving and we had just bought this same exact Tv over a year ago. The setup is great picture quality is better than the last one and best of all the value for my money was crazy good. Last thing to put into the storage because we can’t move in yet. We put the TV on the dolly and just as we are rolling it it slips down and cracks the right side. So we why a month without a TV and then saw the same TV same size and we anted to get this one for the bedroom. This Tv is better than the last one. The colors are brighter. Love this TV and price. Plan on getting the 65” soon.

Not Great, but pretty darn good
or the price, this is a really good TV. The picture is clear, the colors look great, and setting it up was surprisingly easy. The built-in Fire TV has everything in one place, so I didn’t have to spend half my life downloading apps and signing into things. I took off one star because the interface can be annoyingly slow at times. There’s a slight delay when switching between apps or moving through the menus, and the remote has a few buttons placed exactly where your hand will accidentally press them. It’s not a major problem, but it is irritating because apparently even a remote control needs to create unnecessary work. Still, I’m very happy with it overall. It looks great, works well, and is an excellent TV for the price.

Best bang by buck.
Fantastic TV for the price, and maybe just fantastic? We downsized in our bedroom and couldn't be happier. Great picture, the operating system is snapping despite what I read in the reviews before buying it. For under 100 bucks, you cannot beat it.

A Shockingly Good TV for the Price — Way More Than I Expected
I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed with a budget‑friendly TV, but the Insignia 50" F50 Series QLED genuinely surprised me. After a few weeks of daily use, I can confidently say this TV punches far above its price point. Picture Quality That Doesn’t Feel “Budget” The QLED panel is the star here. Colors are vibrant without looking exaggerated, and HDR content actually pops — something I don’t usually see on TVs in this price range. Dark scenes in movies look clean and detailed, not washed out or muddy. Even fast‑moving sports stay sharp with very little motion blur. Fire TV Integration Is Seamless Because it’s built on Fire TV, everything feels fast and intuitive. Apps open quickly, voice search works reliably, and the home screen is easy to customize. I also love that it automatically recognized my soundbar and streaming apps without any setup headaches. Gaming Performance Surprised Me I wasn’t expecting this TV to be “gaming friendly,” but input lag is low enough that my Xbox and Switch feel responsive. Colors in games look fantastic, and the picture stays smooth even during fast action. Audio That’s Better Than Expected Most thin TVs sound hollow, but the F50’s speakers are surprisingly full. I still prefer my soundbar, but for everyday watching, the built‑in audio is more than acceptable. Build Quality & Design The TV is lightweight, easy to mount, and has a clean, modern look. Bezels are slim enough that the picture feels immersive, and the remote is simple but thoughtfully laid out. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a TV that delivers premium‑looking picture quality without the premium price tag, the Insignia F50 Series is a standout. It’s one of those rare purchases where you feel like you got more than what you paid for. I’m genuinely impressed by it overall.

Control defectuoso
