Instant New York Times bestselling series Instant USA TODAY bestselling series In the sizzling hockey romance that has taken TikTok by storm, the star goalie discovers the family he’s always wanted when he falls in love with a single mother. “Mack proves it is in fact always the quiet ones. Another deliciously sexy and honest story of friendship, family, and falling in love.” —Hannah Grace, New York Times bestselling author of Wildfire and Icebreaker The third book in the internationally bestselling Playing for Keeps series. Can he leave the past behind to forge the future he’s always wanted? When it comes to dating, Adam Lockwood wouldn’t know luck if it hit him in the face. After a failed relationship and a string of dates gone wrong, the thought of being vulnerable with someone is terrifying—most women only see his fame. But when his dog runs into Rosie Wells, a beautiful woman with a blush as pink as her hair, she doesn’t seem to have a clue who he is, and Adam seizes the opportunity as a chance to finally be himself. Rosie has her hands full as a single mother and fourth-year veterinary student, and she certainly wouldn’t know a hockey player if she ran into one. She doesn’t have time to date, and she’s fiercely protective of her little family. But when a chance encounter leads her to Adam, she knows it’s worth risking her heart. The only problem? Adam is used to wearing a mask—he’s a goalie, after all. And as he holds onto a secret that threatens to unravel him and destroy his new family, they’re both at risk of losing more than ever before. Unravel Me contains emotional references to the past death of parents and its surrounding grief, as well as brief discussions of foster care, depictions of child neglect (not by the main character), and the death of an animal (minimal descriptions and as it pertains to the FMC’s training as a veterinarian student; not main character’s pet). If you are sensitive to these subjects, please use this information to make an informed decision about whether to proceed with this story.

Comes under the category of 'one of the best books I've read so far'
Started this book only hoping that Adam will finally get his happy. But the turns in story have made it more special. I wasn't expecting the concept of foster system and to be included in this chapter but knowing Becka, I knew there would always be a learning in the story. We often things for granted that we never understand that how some people are dying to experience our life . Iam so thankful to you for writing this amazing story. As someone who has always been conscious about myself thinking I won't be enough for people who loves me, this story is an eye opening. I could relate so much with the characters. And don't get me started with roller coaster of emotions I felt (especially in epilogue- the conversation with Lily and Rosie in the beginning of the story). Definitely comes under the category of 'the best books I have read in 2023'. Sending lots of love and I hope u continue doing what you love. I hope you get all the success but ur books are *chef kiss*. Honestly thinking back to corona period, the only good thing about it was finding ur books one fine night on Wattpad since then I've been reading ur books. It started with Carter and I hope It continues for a long time(me reading ur books).

4.5 star !
I absolutely loved this. The only reason I gave this book 4.5 star is because of some parts that felt a little extra corny and cheesy. Like it didn't seem necessary but it's still there because the author wanted to write it which is perfectly fine because she is the one who wrote this book in the first place. It's just at some point some dialogues felt really unnecessary. Also I freaking love the chitter - chatter and the banter between the boys and boys and girl as well. That's one of the main reason I gave this book almost full star. Also I freaking love Connor and why does no one talk and out him often in there reviews of this book ?! They need to - need to specify Connor and bear and piglet more often man. I mean come on we have give them more credits right ?? Anyways I very highly recommend this book. I jumped directly to the 3rd book in this series. But I suggest reading the books in sequence if you will. Enjoy !

I cried so much in this book, and how they found each other and loved each other...made each other believe their worth was just spectacular!I don't know how you are going to top this one Becka, but I so hope you do! Same old story😞
Nothing is new! We know they are glad that they found each other but really we have to read that in every second page? 🤨it's unnecessarly dragged it's easily cut shot 100 pages. What really annoys me is their group chats or I call it smut chat? Who talks like that? even with the friends.

Emotional and Perfect
Unravel Me by Becka MackTropes: Single Mother/ Hockey Player/ Found Family/ Traumatic Past/ Hidden Identity/ Inta Connection/ No 3rd Act Breakup/ Dual POV“Unravel Me” is the third book in the “For Keeps” series, I read the first book in this series and fell head over heels with these characters. My all-time favorite was Carter Beckett, how he loved fiercely and never wavered in his pursuit of Olivia. Well let me tell you something, that changed today, I AM OBSESSED WITH DADDY ADAM. Like literally OBSESSED with this man, the way he loved was out of this world, he never doubted his feelings toward Connor, Rosie, or Lilly, he was such a perfect book boyfriend, that it is really a shame that he doesn’t exist in real life. “Unravel Me” had me ugly crying and honestly, I lost count of how many times I was in tears thanks to this book.Rosie is a single mother who had a really tough upbringing, the loss of her parents at a young age forced her to go under the system, and she never found a family who could adopt her. Now she struggles with being someone’s choice because after her parents died she was alone and no one chose her. Her feelings are so raw and valid, she struggles and has a tough life but she never lost hope in finding someone who would love and choose her and Connor every single day of her life.Adam notorious serial dater, all he ever wanted was to have someone who love him for who he was, and no the NHL star. He has been hurt in the past by his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him, and now all he wants is to find his ‘person’. He feels lonely and undeserving of love due to the scars his last relationship left on him. Until one day, his dog decided to play matchmaker and led him to the five-foot-four single mother who stole his heart with just a smile. Never in a million years, he’d think that she would give him everything he thought he did not deserve anymore. Adam and Rosie's relationship was emotional and heartwarming to read. Despite the challenges life had thrown at them, they had so much love to give each other. 'Bear,' Adam's dog, played a significant role in bringing them together. Once they started dating, their love continued to grow, and their support for each other during moments of doubt was beautiful to witness. Adam's acceptance of Rosie's role as a single mother without hesitation was refreshing, and he embraced every aspect of her life. Rosie's strength in raising her son while juggling work and studies was inspiring. Adam's family welcomed her with open arms, and she truly deserved her happy ending. Their love and support for each other allowed them to expand their family without hesitation, and they complemented each other perfectly. Their love story was a beautiful journey of finding happiness and creating a loving family together. This book was so emotional, never have I ever cried so much, yet Adam and Rosie’s story had me bawling my eyes out from the beginning all the way to the end.I rated this book with 5 stars and wholeheartedly recommend it.

It’s a book full of cuteness, responsibilities, loyalty, adulthood, parenthood, chosen family. I can’t even count the number of times I cried during this book. It’s so human.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED!!!
OMG THIS SERIES!! THIS BOOK!! Becka is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors yall. Her characters are top-notch and relatable. The buildup between her MCs is SOOO delicious. And her spice is just yummy. I LIKED Consider Me, but have really LOVED Play with Me and Unravel Me. The top spot for MC is now between Garrett and Adam. Adam Lockwood was just SUCH a wonderful man. He had been hurt so badly by who he thought was the love of his life. She was truly trash- the red haired devil. He so wanted to be loved by someone who knew HIM not the hockey player. Enter Rosie and her son, Connor. Rosie was just the SWEETEST. I loved how naturally their relationship progressed. They were so at ease with each other. They fumbled and were goobers around each other. It just felt PERFECT. I liked how much they helped each other build back their confidence. I liked their chemistry and how they literally met in the woods. I liked Adam's commitment to her and Connor and hated that Rosie's bar had been set so low by Connor's dad, her uber toxic ex. I had a hard time swallowing Adam not disclosing some thing BUT at the same time understood it. I liked how even in the third act breakup these two were reasonable. The spice was HOT and passionate. At the end of the day, these two made each other better and stronger. They were SUCH a cute unit together.Adam is done with dating. He has TRIED SO hard to find the right person. How hard is to find someone who just wants to hang out with him. Not to ask him how many houses he has. Or be there for him the hockey player not the man. His ex has got him so twisted with how things ended. He thought she was his forever when clearly he was her meal ticket. But then he meets Rosie. Rosie who has NO idea who he is. Rosie who makes his stomach flutter. Rosie who gets him excited to meet up again and set dates. Rosie who is a single mom to the CUTEST kid who immediately calls him Dada. This woman can't be real. She is beautiful and fun and makes him laugh. She sets him at ease which is something he hasn't felt in a long time. But somehow they have avoided talking about what he does. That's ok. He will tell her eventually. He sees how hard she works and all that she does and just wants to celebrate her and her amazingness. The chemistry between them is unreal. He likes being needed by her and her son. He wants to provide and make her smile. The buildup to them taking things all the way legit makes Adam nervous and giddy in the best way. And just when everything is perfect his job comes to bite him. His past comes to bite him. And now he is stuck wondering all of the what ifs and hoping she can see past this stuff and recognize that he is still HER Adam. He will always be her Adam.Rosie needs a break. She is a single mom who is also in vet school. She LOVES her job and is happy but she feels like she is missing that connection with someone. Then she meets Adam and his dog Bear. There is an instant connection to him. She feels as though she has known him for a while but also finds herself being so quirky around him. Like he makes her nervous in the best way. Then they go there separate ways BUT then she sees him again with Bear on the trail the next weekend and knows that this could be something. So they explore it. Adam takes her on a date, and it is more thoughtful than anything anyone has ever done for her. So she tells him about her son Connor. She actually introduces him. She opens that door in her world to this man who makes her smile and feel things she has never really felt. They are progressing. Dating. Looking forward to MORE. They do sleep overs and Adam seems to love spending time with Connor too. Everything is just so magical when he is around. Not even her ex can break her down anymore because Adam has helped with that. He is becoming her person, and then they sleep together. And all bets are off. Can this be real? Is it weird to be thinking about a future with him this soon? But then something comes to light and she feels like she might not know all about Adam. She questions a lot but not his feelings for her. She just has to determine if she can move on from what she now knows so that they can realize their future together.I LOVED this little family unit. I loved how Adam treated Rosie like a queen and all of the little things that he did for her. I loved how this woman who had no family found her family with him. How his hockey family became her family and how they welcomed her with open arms. I loved how they were able to help each other FINALLY cut off their toxic exes. I just loved HOW they loved each other. And though it might have been fast nothing felt forced if that makes sense. It was a literally when you know you know. I can't recommend this series enough. I have tried to prolong them so that I can savor and spread this series out as long as possible BUT am also chomping at the bit because I am SOOO excited to read Jaxon's books!! If you haven't started this one or this series do so sooner rather than later- you won't regret it :)
