I have no issue with this switch and every test came out as 2.5GB which is perfect since I'm running a server at home, and there will be no issue between internet and intranet. It handling both just fine! This stays on 24/7 unless there is a power failure, so heating or may overheating is not an issue. You can feel the heat, but it is not too hot. There is no noise and it mounted to the wall behind a desk, making it easier to get access to it. Durable enough to not cause an issue. Highly recommended over the 1gb switch I replaced.

I was able to upgrade my internet service to fiber and I needed a new switch due to different ISP hardware and to accommodate my new speed. The exponential cost increase for each speed hike over 1gb hardware was an eye opener to me, and caused me to consider brands I previously would not have. After watching a few YouTube reviews, I settled on this one. Costs are kept down by using a non-standard chip, and it's a plastic enclosure instead of metal. The light-weight construction gives it a lower-quality feel, but it does work, so who cares? I've been using this for eight months and have had zero issues with it, and the speeds are what I hoped for. I intend to buy another.

I was having drops in my home network, and after some tinkering i realized that my older 2.5 switch was the the problem and it had to be replaced. I needed something moderately priced, and after looking i found this switch on amazon. i never heard of the company, but the price and the reviews encouraged me to buy this switch. now, it's been a week since i got this switch and used it and I'm happy to report that it's working well. I've got all ports occupied and transferred some files from my NAS to my PC and I got the full speed of advertised 2.5GB speed. Another comforting point is that this network switch doesn't get as hot as my previous one. hopefully this is a good sign that it'll last longer.

Great Ethernet switch that supports 2.5G bandwidth. Build quality is great for its modest price. I was happy with this switch so much so that I not long after purchased the 8 port version (2.5G) for our living room system (3 game console, Apple TV 4K and a Sonos soundbar). Works exactly as intended. Highly recommended!
