For only $40, I expected a cheap knife. I was wrong. My walnut handle looks much better than the illustrations. Out of the box the blade is almost as sharp as my expensive Helle knives. One fuller is deeper than the other fuller, but both are adequate for their true purpose, i.e. adding strength to the blade. It will take my getting used to the deeply notched knurls on the handle. The full tang is not visible, but a strong magnet detected it all the way to the butt. I love the hild being an adequate hand guard. I recommend the knife

Despite some other critical reviews of sharpness, build quality and sheath quality, my knife was very sharp, has a quality and hefty feel and the sheath is at least adequate. Very pleased so far.

This is a true hand made knife. Love it. It’s razor sharp, well made. You can see the craftsmanship that went into it. Let her is a bit thin, but it’s easier to work with.

This was a gift for my son. He loves it. He's an outdoorsy type.

This blade had to be washed and oiled correctly. It came soaked in oil. Literally dripping. I washed it with dish soap and then cleaned and oiled it correctly. The knife is well made and razor sharp. The sheath is cheap and will be thrown out. I'll just use one of my many others, since the sheath isn't really shaped to the blade anyway.

The knife seems well made but it is not nearly as good looking as the pictures. Nor is the sheath. The handle is very plain looking and the sheath is plain and pretty cheap looking. I don’t recommend.
