Solid value, great perfomer
I'm pleasantly surprised! This NUU N30 punches well over its weight. This is a great cost-effective offering, and it's unlocked - I use T-Mobile and mint, works great. It's plenty fast, smooth refresh, excellent display, solid connectivity, call quality, and responsive even with multiple apps open. I'm not a gamer but I think it's fast. The best surprise are the stereo speakers. Held close, the sound floats around your head somehow almost like surround. It's pleasant and unexpected, and they sound hella good. I considered the other one with the rear display since it's got 256 + 8, but only one speaker and sound is important to me. Plus, not sure how I would use a rear display. The camera is good, not flagship but fine, and the software supports decent features. All rolled together this device is a solid value that I'm glad went for. Never tried NUU but if it holds, I'll be back.

Overall good value
This was a significant upgrade from my previous Android phone (which wasn't bad for the time I bought it - it was a decent Samsung), and I've been so happy with it that I bought one for my son when his old phone started malfunctioning & his tech guy said it wasn't worth repairing anymore. I'm especially happy with the camera in this. Fingerprint recognition works pretty well, though my phone case gets in the way sometimes and I had to re-do the setup scan twice before it worked consistently. The battery life is good so far (I've had it less than a year). I feel like this is a decent phone for the affordable price.

It's ok!
I got it for a 100 bucks and I can't complain. The camera is good the video quality is ...ok... It's a solid phone if you want a decently fast phone for cheap. If I payed 300-400 bucks I'd be disappointed, but I didn't. I payed 100. Keep your expectations in check. You are probably poor like me. You aren't buying a top tier flagship. This phone was peaced together from spare parts in a shack somewhere in China and these just happened to get the best spare parts they could for the price. Have a good day.

Decent Budget Phone!!!
Good phone! I've owned every kind of phone. After my Google Pixel was stolen last year, I said no more expensive unlocked phones. I bought this last year and I am not hating it! Good camera and video. I bought a designated camera however the photos and videos are honestly really decent. It's so solid too. I've dropped it quite a few times. Nothing, totally solid. The battery charges so fast and it lasts a long time. It doesn't drop calls either! I will keep this phone as my phone. This is an excellent budget phone with all the bells and whistles!

Does everything I need; good value. update: Horrible "duraspeed" app ruins phone.
Update 11/2025: This phone includes an app called "duraspeed" which is supposed to shut down background apps and save battery life. You can't turn this feature off, if you disable it with adb it comes back, it has annoying notifications, and it SHUTS OFF THINGS YOU WANT RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND. It seems that even when you lift restrictions on apps, it still shuts them down. It saves almost zero battery life and is a giant pain in the arse. This phone is a great value compared to others that I could find, at least for my use case. I don't game on a phone and haven't needed 5G. It works on T-mobile's network and I've had zero difficulties with the phone itself. The performance has been fine. I'm not overly sensitive to camera quality, but they have seemed perfectly adequate. The case and pre-applied screen protector are appreciated. I bought a second one either for the spouse or to use as a backup. The price has varied from $130 to $150 over the past couple of weeks. Many other phones of similar capabilities and quality seem to have twice the price. Overall it functions similarly to the the Samsung A51 it is replacing because of some hardware issues. This is my first non-Samsung phone and it took a little time and effort to setup and get used to stock Android 14, but it hasn't been too-bad an experience after a few extensive trips through settings to tweak and turn off a bunch of stuff. Downloading the lawnchair launcher has made it easier; I could get rid of the dock and tweak some grid sizes and colors to meet my preferences.

Rarely Works
I rarely write reviews for products that don't meet my expectations, but the problems with this phone are so egregious that I decided to take the time out to let people know. This phone is terrible. Definitely do not buy for children if you are looking for a reliable phone for their safety. The phone frequently hangs, making it impossible to do anything on it. The only way to do anything after it stalls is to restart or to power off. Had to install updates, and it took over an hour because of all the stalls. The password/PIN to access the phone will report that the wrong password was entered and then after slowly, carefully, and accurately entering it, the same error msg occurs. After shutting the phone down and re-entering the same code, it will open. The phone does ring for incoming calls, and I can have a conversation on it if someone calls me. Making outgoing calls is hit-or-miss as you never know when the phone will stall, which means that it will have to be shut down and opened again. The biometric has not worked at all, so I decided to delete the one I initially had and enter a new biometric. The data on the phone shows that one biometric is on the device. Each time I go into the phone to change the biometric, the prompt asks for the screen PIN--the same one I used to open the phone. After slowly, carefully, and accurately entering it numerous times (sometimes being forced to wait 30 seconds before entering), I have consistently received an error msg stating Wrong PIN. To date, I have not been able to access the biometrics to change it, even though I can use the PIN to access the phone. I won't even take the time to address in any detail that apps just do not work. I have only added three from the play store and none will work. They either stall and won't open or once opened, the phone will stall, and I will have to restart or power off. I just wanted the phone as an extra safety phone if my main phone gets lost or stolen or broken. Unfortunately, this phone is so unreliable that it is actually useless. Both phones are on the T-Mobile network, and my main phone works as expected.
