ALOHA Organic Plant Based Protein Bars | Banana Bread Chocolate Chip, 12 Ct

I’m literally eating 6 right now. lol these are my absolute FAVORITE bar. Where to start, The fiber, the protein, and fresh clean ingredients, gluten free and vegan! The way to my heart! 6/5 stars!

I’ve just recently been trying the Aloha brand and so far, it has by far the best taste of others I have tried and it has clean ingredients. The banana bread choc chip is by far my favorite so far. I also like the peanut butter cup, blueberry, coconut almond and oatmeal choc chip. I want to try the lemon on cashew, but just haven’t yet. Not as dry tasting as others for sure.

The banana bread is the best flavor they've had to date. So long as you're not allergic, I'd suggest this one. They almost never seem to go hard over time and legitimately taste like banana bread. SO GOOD!

If you want your protein bar to taste like banana bread, these are great. If you do not want to feel like you are eating something that tastes a lot like banana, don't get these, banana is a very prominent flavor. The texture is what you would expect from a protein bar - maybe not the most exciting thing you've ever had, but it's not bad to eat/chew and the nutrients are pretty decent.

I am blown away by how absolutely NOT tasty these things are!! They have the consistency of a melted tootsie roll! But sadly not even 1/10th of the sweetness or I would have liked them! Even a hint of the sweetness or some flavor would be necessary here!! I think there’s a hint of banana in there somewhere.. Maybe. Possibly. If I close my eyes AND imagine REALLLY hard. These are unbelievably overpriced & overrated and I absolutely will never buy them ever again. EVER. I am actually mad at myself I let myself be sold on their commercials and I got so many and cuz they are THIS bad because 35.00 for 12 bars is not a good value kinda equating to highway robbery in my humble opinion… ESP when they taste this bad!!!! I REALLY hope I just got a bad flavor on my first batch (cuz I also bought the sampler box!!!) Yeah that was not smart I am seeing now. Ah hindsight, my old friend-enemy… Anyhow, (Also on these bars), the consistency and texture is Beyond Awful! I think if they had nailed that I coulda handled the taste/ but both wrong is a hard pass and a man oh man, it’s so very bad. Truthfully, if they do that on every bar then I can’t see how Anyone likes them, AT ALL, unless they just hate all sugars AND their taste buds are also ALL dead. Maybe. Well, I can see for sure why this is a limited edition bar. Also, I sincerely believe that the ratings are off on this.. to put it mildly. OK, the good things. 4 my healthy eating friends, They are good for you & are all natural ingredients. They are portable. Lol. But alas, they still must be EDIBLE! And I couldn’t force myself to choke down even a second bite, much less half a bar. Well that’s all I can say on these. Kindly anyways. These are so going to be gifted to my kids workplace. Maybe they might like them… Hint : if you are looking for banana bread flavor like me w healthy minimal ingredients in bars- Then my opinion is that you try the Kind (brand) Breakfast Protien bars. Esp in the amazing flavor p-nut Butter banana choco chip. They taste great AND have AMAZING texture! I was hoping to discover an alternative but no luck yet. These are small but great. They have two in each pack.
