Catego for Cats Flea and Tick Treatment & Prevention (Over 1.5 lbs) 1-Month Supply

We have 4 cats and these are easy to use for their monthly treatment. Been buying for 5 years and so far no pesky bugs on the cats. Less expensive than buying at the local Veterinary. I did try to get my Vet to meet the Amazon price but no luck.

We foster neonatal kittens as early as 24hr old. (I also have 6 indoor only Furbabies with special needs) We recently received a 2 wk old Who was sadly, a mess. He was infested in fleas to the point of having numerous sores. I needed something that was available for kittens less than 6wks as I was worried about my own Furbabies getting them. The product came promptly & WORKED!!! as stated with in 24 hrs. We applied it at night, secluded him and literally by morning after a good bathing THEY WERE GONE! We were happy & He was much happier. We now keep it on hand to help the next lil'one that may be in need.

This is my favorite flea and tick control. My cat, for some odd reason, gets ear mites. I tried the stuff the vet gives me for her ears but is horrible and she usually ends up hating me more than it helps her. O put this on her and in a few days her ear mites are gone. It also doesn't leave her fur greasy nor smelly. It smeels when you first apply but once it dries out it's good. It does crust up a bit but I usually brush my data fur to get rid of it.

I purchased this product for my 7 year old black cat, who I'd found a tick on. I've applied Advantage, in the past, but she always cries as though she's in pain, when I apply it. This had good reviews on Chewy and in a Google search, so I decided to try it. First of all, the bottle is crazy easy to open, if you actually read the directions, first. I, however, twisted and turned and thought about scissors before consulting the opening instructions. Second, and most importantly, for the first time, Gertrude didn't yell or run, after application. She did seem a little sleepier than usual, but she'd gotten her rabies vaccine the day before, so it could have been either, or a combo, or she had a busy day wandering around the house yelling at nothing and plotting world domination. The possibilities there are truly endless. Overall, I gave 4 stars because it did leave a white powdery crust on her hair that took a few brushings to get off. Gert is happy, I'm happy, and neither of us are going full bananas because of bugs.

Catego is expensive next to other brands but my cats used to get nauseated from other brands. I think they were too strong. This is effective and no visible side effects. The cats are happy and flea free.
