I'm an avid user of the original Packer's Pine soap. I love its pine tar scent and the soft lather the soap produces. When I've noticed the new scrub soap for sale, decided to give it a try — I'm glad I did! I was worried that the addition of ground coffee & cinnamon would change the soap too much, but I can confirm it didn't. The new scrub soap has the same amazing smell, and produces the same rich, soft lather. The only difference is in the texture. Unlike the original soap that glides in your hands, the scrub soap has a fine, grainy feel to it - I'd compare it to handling a coarse fabric. You can feel the scrub, which I'm sure will help dealing with dry skin in the winter. While I still prefer the feel of the original, this is a very good option for those who want a bit more scrubbing power in their soap.

Teenager enjoyed how it helps against zits and parents like how it helps with exima and inflation. It smells like bacon.

This is the best soap, I use the scrub. It is also great for keeping mosquitoes off of you and bugs away. The scent is smoky and piney. It makes my skin feel great and smell good all day.

I like it. It is definitely heavy on the smoke. Makes my house smell like a forest fire. I place the bar in a ziploc bag and now just the bathroom smells like it burned down. The exfoliate is quite surprising and feels like you're washing with lava soap or something from a mechanic shop. I do like it, it just needs a little tweaking. More pine, less smoke maybe

My fault for not reading the description, I love packers but I ordered the wrong type, this will DEFINITELY exfoliate skin. I just wish the packaging was a bit more obvious, ill still use it for hand cleaning but not the shower.

Buyer beware. The second I opened the amazon package I was doomed to a terrible smell in the house for 2-3 days. This soap REEKS of smoke. I usually love the smell of smoke, but this smell is like your clothes after you've been IN tons of smoke for hours. I put the soap in several tightly knotted bags within an hour after opening it, because my house was staring to smell so bad. I have no idea whether the soap is nice to use or not, because I threw it out and got a refund within a few hours of suffering the smell.

I love the idea of this soap, and the soap itself is great—it leaves my skin feeling great. The scent however is very strong; its less woodsy and more ashy than I was hoping for. Think of what a charcoal grill smells like if you forgot to cover it and it got rained on during the night. Wet ash with a little bit of food funk. To me personally, the scent was decent, but my wife couldn't stand it, even if I kept the soap in a baggie. I ended up having to throw it away.

Who the hell wants to smell like this?? It is disgusting. I was expecting a nice hint of smokiness but was overwhelmed by the smell of a wet fire pit. Didn’t even want to try it. Sent it back the next day. Everyone who got a whiff of it thought it was gross.

While I LOVE Packers pine soap, Amazon did me dirty and only delivered 1 of the 3 bars 👎🙃 But also... The body wash is no longer available in Canada and my household loves it. Boo.
