This stuff could clean up a dirty reputation.
I have used hardware store lacquer thinner for years and it works well most of the time but some paints need a little extra help. This cleaner is of course pricier, but it is well worth it because of all the trouble it saves.

Great glue too!
Cleans the airbrush. It’s also exactly the same chemical as the extra thin cement for a fraction of the price. Works perfectly as cement.

The best for cleaning airbrushes.
I like building scale model cars and recently acquired a collection of used airbrushes. In total, they looked like they had NEVER been cleaned! Very quickly I finished off an existing bottle of TAMIYA Airbrush Cleaner that I had, and I still had more airbrushes to go. Figured I had better hedge my bets and bought TWO bottles just to be sure. In case you don't know, this is the same formulation as the Tamiya "extra thin cement" for gluing your models together. Clean one day, cement the next. Win--Win!

That said, I doubt I buy it again. Iwata cleaner works at least as good and costs about a dollar more for almost twice as much. August 2020 edit: I purchased another jar and compared it with my Iwata airbrush cleaner for cleaning up lacquers. Tamiya’s cleaner works better with a lot smaller amount. This is going to be my choice when using lacquer paint from now on.

Tamiya extra thin refill
I get this to refill the tamiya extra thin....the chemical difference is 2% variance 49-51 and 50-50 so they are the same thing!

Airbrush cleaner or glue!
Instead of paying $13 for tamiya glue I use this,same thing works just as good

Efective, strong smell just keep it closed and away from kids, but thats ussual for this kind of products.

This is excellent stuff at a great price
This is the best airbrush cleaner but have to be careful and were gloves and mask when you're cleaning and plenty of fresh air all I can say it does what it says on bottle
