These headphones work so well. They are light, fit well, have clear sound and don’t block out surrounding sound. I want to know what’s going on around me but still hear what I’m listening to. I use them for podcasts and audio books primarily. Customer service is very impressive. Part of the charging cord broke. They responded to my email quickly and are sending me a new headphone. Great value for the cost.

These headphones are absolutely amazing, and I honestly love them so much more than traditional earbuds. I’ve always struggled to find earbuds that fit comfortably, but these are in a league of their own. They rest so nicely on the outside of your ear instead of pushing inside, which makes a huge difference in comfort. I can wear them for hours without any soreness, and I completely forget they’re even there. One of my favorite things about them is that you can still hear what’s going on around you while enjoying your music, podcast, or phone call. For me, that’s really important, especially when I’m out walking. I like being able to enjoy great sound but still stay aware of my surroundings, and these strike the perfect balance between clarity and safety. The sound quality itself honestly blew me away. It’s clear, crisp, and surprisingly rich for such an affordable price point. I don’t know how they can offer this kind of quality at such a low cost, it feels like you’re getting way more than what you pay for. The battery life is another huge plus, it lasts a really long time before needing to be recharged, which makes them even more reliable for daily use. I’ve also used them for phone calls while multitasking, like doing the dishes, and they worked flawlessly. The person on the other end heard me clearly, and I could hear them just as well. It makes hands-free tasks so much easier. The range was excellent. The final “seal of approval” for me came from my son. He’s an engineer and very particular about electronics, honestly, he’s a bit of a tech snob when it comes to sound and build quality. He was so impressed after trying these that he actually said he’s going to order a pair for himself. For him to be impressed by something in this price range is saying a lot, and it gave me even more confidence that I made the right choice. All in all, these are the most comfortable, practical, and high-quality headphones I’ve ever found for the price. They go above and beyond my expectations in every way. If you’ve had trouble finding comfortable earbuds or just want something that offers great sound, comfort, and safety awareness, I can’t recommend these enough.

These headphones are a perfect fit for running or working out for a hour or two, but not good for everyday use. Note that this is only an initial review. I've only had the product in my hand a few hours. I don't understand why people give it a downvote for not fitting "IN" your ear... It's not designed to go in your ear it just goes over your ear. For me they are very comfortable and do not hurt my ears. These are not bone headphones, they are just using that buzzword like every other headphones sold on here. That being said they are great for what they are. Compared to other headphones I have that work similarly, they are much louder, and allow you to have situational awareness while using them. So yes you can still hear your surroundings. I think this is very good for something like the gym or working out around other people, so people can still get your attention, and you still have situational awareness of what's going on around you. They are also very lightweight, so they don't flop off of your ears if you run. This by itself is a huge plus for me. The combination of lightweight and loudness pays a price, which is what most people probably complain about which is the battery life. The charge time is quoted as 2 hours with a standard non-fast charger. If that's the case I can't imagine the battery being very big, as most other headphones that are similar take something like 10 hours to charge fully. This is why I think they are better suited for working out for an hour or two, and not so much for everyday use or long trips. These really fit a niche in the headphone space for working out, but don't expect them to last for hours and hours of use like some other larger heavier headphones. The box claims they have a hundred hours standby time, not use time. I do not see a use time listed on the box. They do only have a single button on the side for on off and pausing music, they do not have volume controls. For me this is not an issue, as when I'm running I just set the volume and run I'm not playing with it constantly. The audio quality seems to be slightly above other headphones around the lower end of the price range. One thing I appreciate is that they do not try to have a ton of dirty bass like a lot of other headphones that just sound distorted and horrible. With these you can hear the high tones quite a bit, and voices come through clear, along with symbols and high frequency sounds. An audiophile would probably take issue with these but for the price range they are actually pretty decent. The real appeal of these headphones is their comfort, lightweight, ability to stay in place while working out, and loudness compared to other headphones.

I really like these headphones. They sound very good, the quality is solid, and the price is excellent. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the performance. They also come with two charging cords that are specific to the product. It would be nice if a wall plug for the USB was included, but that is not a deal breaker for me. I do not think it is fair for people to leave negative reviews because these headphones do not go into the ear. That is exactly how this product is designed and intended to be used. It is made for people who do not want in ear headphones, so that should not be considered a flaw. Anyone purchasing these should understand what they are buying. These are perfect for me because they are comfortable and easy to wear. The only small issue I have is the sizing. They fit me fine, but I wish they were just slightly bigger. I have a larger head than most people, so this may not be an issue for others. They are not too small, but if they were just a bit larger, they would be absolutely perfect. Overall, I am very happy with them.

First off I need to say that this company is AMAZING! I reached out because my first headphones stopped taking the charge. I wasn't sure why but I found out that I was just out of warranty. They were so kind and gave me a new pair anyhow. And I'm so glad because even if they hadn't, I would have still ordered a new pair. This very lightweight, easy to wear and get on and off and sound is amazing plus the microphone is perfect. Everyone I speak to when wearing them says they cannot even tell I have headphones on. I love, love, Love these on my walks and jogging. They really keep a charge for a good amount of time and I love that I can tell when they are fully charged by the light. These are extremely lightweight. I am using them with a bluetooth adapter for my TV, so there was a slight issue with pairing, but once they paired, they work quite nicely. Connectivity was only a small problem and took only a couple of minutes for them to maintain connection. The only things I don't like about them...there is no volume control on the headphones. I guess the assumption is that they would be used with a phone and volume control would be handled by the phone. With their size/weight, I can also understand that there really isn't any place for the volume control on the unit itself. Second thing is the sheer size. I have a rather large head and these fit on my ears with the wrap-around portion missing my head in the back by a good 3/4". Again, making an assumption...if there was a good amount of hair on the back of the head, I suppose they might be a bit tighter. Edit: To add to the list of things I am not liking...battery life isn't great. I am getting maybe 6-7 hours with a full charge. My previous headset (also over the ear, just got old and gave up) would go for a full week of usage (1-2 hours per day on the bike). These are barely clearing 2-3 days (at best). I know it's a low price point, but I would expect much more battery life than this.

Although I just received these this morning, I LOVE them! The sound is clear and full and the headset is comfortable and easy to take on and off. These are even comfortable when I'm wearing glasses! From less than a foot away my wife was unable to hear what I was listening to -- while it was loud and clear to me! I don't know yet what the battery life of the headset is, but for $25 these are fantastic. I love how I can hear what someone is saying to me while I am listening to a podcast or music -- I was getting tired of being interrupted and having to pull our an EarPod and having it slip to the ground or lose its connection. Don't get these if you don't want to be able to hear any ambient sounds (these would be TERRIBLE on an airplane) -- but know that the volume of these is definitely sufficient enough that you can still enjoy your music/podcasts while ignoring any most outside sounds. Excellent. I would definitely buy these again!

PROS: I've used the Ortizan Open Ear Headphones several times practicing aqua routines in the pool. I really like the bass as this was what was missing from other bone conductive earphones that I've had in the past. I also like the magnetic charging system. I do not have to wrestle with the tiny flap which ultimately snapped in order to open and close the charging system. CONS: Sometimes it flickers off and on when I'm practicing in the water. Also when I get some water on my ear, it sounds like I can only hear from the other ear. However, when I recharge and use it another day, it sounds normal. SUMMARY: This is the best brand that I've experienced. It's easy to use and it stays in place one you place it over your ears. I think it deserves the best rating.
