This kit is really great for getting started in your "sourdough era" - the directions was easy to read and understand. Everything was in this kit to get you started. The glass jar is great and a great shape. Very durable and easy to clean. The only problem is that my sourdough never came to life - not the kits fault. Unfortunately I haven't came back to it to give it another go but maybe sometime again this year I will. The kit was worth the money, I didn't have to guess at anything.

Absolutely LOVE this kit! Easy to clean, easy to take care all the details for your sourdough starter's growth including the day and time of last feeding. Beautiful breathable baskets with super cute and well made elastic cotton covers. Love the silicone spatula and glass jar for sourdough starter. The jar comes with a breathable cotton elastic cover and a silicone cover for when you want your starter to take a break in the fridge. The temperature sticker Fahrenheit and Celsius readings are handy for overall comfort for your active starter. LOVE LOVE LOVE the retractable AND magnetic bread lame! This is a beautifully packaged starter kit filled with sourdough LOVE and every detail you can imagine! Sourdough just met genius!

Delicious and beautiful sourdough bread! I thought I failed to activate the starter but I persevered and made a perfect loaf of sourdough bread. I wanted to give up because my starter didn’t like the ones on the internet, however, I found out that it doesn’t have to. Follow the instructions and go with your gut- especially with the proofing process. As long as there are consistent leveled bubbles and sweet yeast smell, you are good to go! With much patience you can do it! The jar and baskets are high quality. I never used thermometer- my house is set 70 degrees. Thought this was too cool but my starter was successful. All the tools were helpful. Highly recommend this brand over others.

Nice collection of items for a beginner. The jar is a great size, it's thicker than an average jar, it's well-made, easy to read the amounts and cleans up in a snap. The band, the bannetons, the stirring/scraping tool are perfect. My only complaint is the dough blade. It looked simple enough, it opened easily, I put in a real blade, I closed it back up and not only can't I reopen the device, I don't even see a hole for the blade.

I’m sooooo happy that my first bread experience came with this kit. The kit contains a full set of basically everything for starter and fermentation, as well as maintenance. The kit is a bit pricey compared to the others but remember this is something that goes into your mouth and stomach so quality matters! I don’t smell anything funky and all material is very well made. You do get what you pay for and in my opinion this is the best bang for my buck in a long time! The customer service is superb which I’ll touch on later. Everything from the kit ended up being very useful. I came into sourdough as a complete beginner as in I never baked any bread (well cake yes but bread never). If you are new into baking sourdough or bread even, I’d recommend oval shaped bannetons because I got two round ones which made my final shaping a little challenging. Nevertheless I think I got very successful try as a complete beginner into the game. The first one I made is a bit underproofed so lots of gas channels and such, but with a little bit of thinking my second sourdough is already so much better, developing lace and tastes even wonderful. I do also have to say the customer care team is wonderful! I accidentally ruined my liners in dryer and reached out to see where I may purchase replacements. And they responded really quickly with perfect solutions. I truly feel that I’m part of the community and am valued.

The KneadAce Sourdough starter kit is really nice. The jar is nice, the mouth is wide enough that you can easily get your hand in to clean. The proofing baskets are nice, I look forward to using them. The spatula is nice and stiff and easy to clean. The Bread Lame worked well.

These items are great to use. I gave theme Long with sourdough bags to a friend and included my starter. She is set to go!! I use these alot. They are very well made!

Love this sourdough starter kit. I paired the sourdough jar with a cup warmer and it does an excellent job of keeping everything at the perfect temperature to grow my starter. I love the quality of these items!!
