Good alternative SSD when no others available
Just used this SSD to convert an old laptop from windows to Linux Mint.SSD was recognised by laptop, Linux Mint happy to use, 30 mins later Linux is installed. Its made the old Laptop much faster than before. So speed wise I'm happy.Quietness does not really apply to an SSD as they have no moving parts. So yes its very quiet. At the time of purchasing it was good value for money. As for how good the SSD is well only time will tell.Always a bit dubious but ACER is a known good brand so hopefully its going to be ok.So far its working fantastic.

Excellent piece of kit!
I bought this to upgrade the storage on my new Geekom mini PC. I have used Acer gear a few times over the years and have generally found it to be pretty good and so it was with this example.Easy to install and format, I had no problems with it and as others have reported, found it to be pretty fast to access. All in all a good and very useful choice.

Good reliable SSD
Good SSD. Bought to replace an old mechanical HDD that was on it way out. No issues with it. Looks good, seems durable and very happy with the read & write speeds.

Upgrade from previous drive
This was a replacement and an upgrade for my laptop. My previous SSD started failing and the capacity wasn't as high as this one. It was easy to fit and my laptop starts faster than it did before. Installation of Windows went smoothly, bonus! I have used it multiple times now and smooth performance. I recommend this drive to anyone who faster start ups and better performance.

Seamless transfer of system files and easy installation
I needed to replace a 117gb SSD C: drive in my desktop, as Windows and programs now take up almost all its capacity. The switch and installation was easy using the free Acronis Imaging software to clone the hard drive using the second SATA bay in the desktop usually housing my Data Drive. The whole process took about 90 minutes as I worked carefully, and the startup after installation was excellent.

Easy to setup.
