I received this two days after I ordered it, so it arrived quickly. However the packaging was a disaster. Basically the chair was in pieces, rattling around in a large box with no padding. There was a massive hole in the side of the box, and it was difficult to be sure whether anything was missing because the instructions appeared to apply to a different chair (one with arms). Still, it turned out that everything was there, and with a bit of logic and imagination it was fairly straightforward to put together - it only took me 10 minutes. The chair itself is very comfy. The seat adjusts up and down, and the backrest tilts and locks. The height of the backrest can also be adjusted up and down. There's lots of padding and first impressions are that it's quite comfy. I personally hate arms on an office chair, so I'm pleased with this. I think, though, that I might have been a bit lucky that the chair was undamaged despite the terrible packaging.

This is a kind of chair ! My best online purchase ever!Having to do lot of work from home recently, I needed a proper chair for back support. My chair at office meets all the H&S regulations and has thousands of adjustments accordingly. From search I found that one of those will cost about £300 and with this Trexus chair I wasn't expecting much. But it is too far beyond my expectations. It is actually a lot more comfortable than my office chair and only costs a fraction. It has enough adjustments to make a perfect posture. The Charcoal colour looks professional and blends in with other furniture.The quality is exceptional for the asking price. Heavy build, soft foam, good fabric, wheels are fitted with bearings (assume so). Gas lift is smooth and good control for fine adjustments.Last but not the least - It takes 5 minutes to put this chair together - no nuts and bolts or need of any tool. Everything is push and fit. Another 5 stars for the designers of Trexus.With all of that, this becomes the best product I have ever bought online.Amazon special delivery - ordered Friday arrived on Saturday in a perfect condition. Good job. Will buy Trexus again. Thank you.

I bought this chair because the in answer to a question the vendor stated that the seat height is 24 inches. Being 6ft 4ins tall and with long legs, this was important!!! However, the seat height is only 22", completely useless and ruinously uncomfortable for me. Also the seat padding is thin and non supportive. After one hour at the desk I felt like I was sitting on the frame, not the cushion! How anybody could have paid full price for this shoddy rubbish is beyond me.

I know people are going to say "you get what you pay for" but as this chair was ostensibly marked down from £134.05to £85.99, I thought I was getting an end-of-line or overstocked good quality chair. However, that was not the case. Brand New. The backrest fabric pulls away from the backrest with a sucking sound when you lean forward.The seat is very uncomfortable after a short space of time, and I end up with backache within an hour, despite having my backrest at the correct angle.Putting the chair together was not easy - as it had arrived partially built, the instructions were very confusing as they included building up what had already been done.I would certainly not buy this again - it is no better than other chairs I have discarded which I bought much cheaper.I have given the product two stars for the fact that the backrest has a very large selection of positions which one doesn't normally find, as well as for excellent customer service, packaging and communication.

While I cannot complain about the quick delivery by FedEx and the mechanical quality of the chair, I do raise an issue about the lack of padding in the seat of the chair. This is not a chair to sit in for long periods unless the user has spare padding in their rear-end! It is decidedly uncomfortable after about an hours use and in no way compares with my previous office chair. Having said that, the chair is well made with adjustments for seat height, back-rest angle and back-rest height. It doesn't come with arm-rests, but these are available from various suppliers, some cheaper than Amazon. The chair back is firm, bot not uncomfortable. If it wasn't for the lack of padding in the seat (and mine!) I would have been well pleased and given it 5 stars. As it is, I've resurrected my 18 year-old office chair from my shed and will put this down to a bad and painful experience.

I originally bought this chair over a year ago, for use with my desk at home and I have generally been very happy with it. When I first received it, I found it quick and easy to put together. The chair itself is very strong and sturdy, which has meant that it has lasted well over time. However, due to this, it is quite heavy to manoeuvre from one room to another. I have also found this chair to be very comfortable to sit on for many hours, as it is well padded and easy to adjust. However, if you have to move whilst on the chair or get up, the chair's seat and back panel tend to rustle strangely as they decompress. All in all though, I am extremely happy with this chair and intend to continue using it for a while yet.

I have to say that I am really pleased with this purchase. My previous office chair was really annoying as the arms kept getting caught under the desk and due to its construction it was giving me a back ache. This was one of best quality for the price chairs that I found. It did come requiring putting together but it was so easy and only took a few minutes. Since I have been using the chair my back ache has disappeared! I am so pleased. It is good quality, adjustable and just what I wanted. Don't hesitate!
