Traxxas2470A Tires and Wheels, Black Chrome, Assembled, Bandit, 2-Piece

Our r/c crazy 13 year old has been running and racing cars and trucks for about four years, and the Traxxas Bandit was his first higher-end remote control vehicle... and it has probably been his favorite.We have burned through many sets of tires (slicks, Anacondas, Alias and knobbies) and have gone through more than our fare share of bearings, but man-o-man has it been worth it. The Bandit is an A+ ride ( Traxxas RTR 1/10 Bandit Extreme Sports with Water Proof XL-5 RTR and 7 Cell Battery with Charger ) for its price!We have about an acre of grass, dirt and hills and he feels that these Traxxas Alias rear tires are the best for that type of off road use. Not only do the small nubs really allow the car to grip and run fast, but the tires are made of a medium grippy compound that does not wear crazy fast but is still tough enough to take the off-road beating. He does not hesitate to jump the curb and run the blacktop with these too, but they are mostly used in grass and dirt. However, if running strictly on the blacktop our son feels that Traxxas Anaconda tires ( Traxxas 2478R Rear Anaconda 2.2 Tire & Wheel (2): Bandit ) provide the best combination of control, grip and speed.These tires are mounted on Traxxas Tracer wheels, also the same as Bandit factory original, except these are the smoky, black chrome colored wheels (which our son likes better). These can be used on the stock Bandit XL-5 or VXL. These wheels are installed with the Traxxas pin-hub, not with the hex bolt, which is fine for us since that is the way that the original Bandit setup came.The Bandit greatly exceeded my expectations as a toy for our son. It has been, and continues to be, an outstanding learning experience for him and that has been a blast to watch evolve. These tires are just another part of that fun journey.Go for it and have fun!

good tires, would buy again

I have three boys who have been passing down a Traxxis Bandit for about 10 years. They are incredibly durable. But, we do burn through a lot of tires, shocks, engines, and batteries. We recently replaced very well worn rear tires with these and they work perfectly. The size is identical to the originals and they feel as durable as the originals, as well as all previous replacement sets.My boys do a lot of driving in dirt and gravel. That seems to be where these tires perform the best. When they do a lot of sidewalk, street, or parking lot driving the knobs do wear down quickly. But, they like the drifting that results when that happens so we keep the old tires around for that purpose.These are well worth the money if you have Traxxis Bandit.

Exactly what the the product is. These don't last on 3s lol well at least not for me.

I got 4 of them for a 1/10 nitro buggy 4wd and they are perfect. We run that car on and off road and it has performed very well. Durability of the tires and wheels have been excellent so far.

Vary nice but I'm running rustler rear a arms now an they look funny on it so I'm just running my slash tires but win I put the bandit a arms back on I know they will look nice
