I bought a different jug from a different company that was very flimsy and even disfigured rather easily. This jug, however, is impressively sturdy. The plastic is very thick. Some people may worry that the handle is a separate piece of plastic, but I found it to be very securely attached. The negative reviews complaining that no lid is included are correct; you will need to purchase your own lid separately.
