GREAT solution for portable smartphone video-film cages, strongly recommend, one caveat
So, if you've invested in any of the SmallRig or Neewer or Ulanzi (or other) phone cage systems and components for portable video-film capture with your "Pro-level" smartphone, you're very aware of the need, eventually, for some sort of hub system to manage inputs: aux. power, audio, SSD storage, HDMI monitor. The Kondor Blue USB-C Media Hub is designed for this and executes it extremely well. Its design is excellent and really well-considered. It is lightweight aluminum construction, its USB-C and HDMI connection points seem really solid, its options for mounting are great. I tested this setup with a SmallRig Universal cage, an LED HDMI monitor, a Crucial 2TB SSD, and a Belkin 20w battery. The on-hub blue LED indicates when your phone's connection is active and is providing power to the hub. Add a battery through the hub and you immediately see the phone show it's charging, while the battery is powering everything on the hub. In my attached photos, I don't show the audio USB-C port being used. I did add my Hollyland Lark2 Max receiver to that port (separately) and test it, and it works as expected. When recording video on the phone while it's connected to the hub, the audio input automatically replaces the phone's onboard mic. HERE'S MY ONLY COMPLAINT, AND IT'S BEEN VOICED BY OTHERS WHO REVIEW THIS ITEM: Kondor is trying to get established as a "system" solution, with its own various components designed for this and other Kondor products. So, their decision to make the ports in the hub sort of "hard to access" with most USB-C cables is really (frankly) annoying. I have invested in several, high-quality, high speed/high-data-rate cables, and their "thickness" becomes a barrier for use with the Kondor Blue hub's design. The channel that protects the connections points is too narrow. BAD IDEA, KONDOR. I do understand that someone's trying very hard to offer a family product line, but the idea that other (in some cases, much more robust) cable solutions are just not going to work is short-sighted, in my opinion. It doesn't make me want to return this item. Before discovering it, I was waffling on just abandoning my SmallRig setup and going with the Moment brand cage/hub combo, but really didn't want to get into spending another $300 or so to change systems. So, this is a really solid solution and enough of my higher-speed/data cable ends are thin enough to deploy with the hub for testing and actual field use. I still gave this five stars because it really is well designed, and--as long as you know about the cable access point issue--this is a great solution for managing run-and-gun video capture with smartphone cage systems.

Exactly What I needed
Exactly what I needed for my TikTok Live streaming. All other hubs I tried are built for laptops. This one is mainly for having your phone as a host. The other hubs I tried would not charge simultaneously using my blue yeti microphone. The Kondor Blue does this and works perfectly. So glad I got this and now I can stop worrying about losing power.

It Works!
Love this thing - went through at least three other such hubs, all the connections work on this one. Using it on cages for iPhones - multicsamera set up - works fine. More compact than it looks, and solidly built...

Great for mobile filmmakers
This is actually great, it makes the whole difference when using your iPhone for professional filmmaking, as it allows to connect multiple other gadgets to it, mic, charger, HDMI external monitor, SSD drive. And the cold shoe mount paired with the 1/4 inch holes make it even more versatile. Recommend!

No HDMI throughput from any source:(
Mine won't allow hdmi throughput. Everything else works except that. Very disappointed.

This Hub helps takes iPhone cinematography to a higher level.
The hub arrive on time, functions as advertised, and is made of high quality metal. I found it setting up a complex iPhone camera rig possible.

Amazing fit and finish. Two drawbacks though!
I bought this to use for video journalism at home and on the road. It's attached to my SmallRig cage at the top using a 90 degree cold shoe mount. On the plus side: it is small, bulletproof and stays out of the way. It has NATO screw-in and cold shoe attachment points. There are two drawbacks for me, but YMMV. 1. The HDMI out is 2.0 and not the latest 2.1. Probably not a big deal to run a small monitor or for recording. 2. The advantage of all the mounting points is a drawback because every USB-C socket is recessed, preventing the use of most 90 degree adaptors which are needed so you can neatly run your cables around a video cage. You can see that to install a 90 degree adaptor I had to insert a USB-C extender first, so my cables really stick out and are hard to dress.

Doesn’t work well with Hollyland m2s Mic usb-c, cuts off the range of the mic
I have to give 3 star on this product. First of all, the quality is very good, the design is ok. Reason it’s ok, is because the middle usb-c port is labeled as audio. Most usb-c dongle for iPhone are meant to be plugged directly to the iPhone port. With that said, if you have external storage plugged to the port on the left and power on on the right, that means you can’t plug in the dongle directly which means you need an L adapter or usb-c female to male adapter. The main reason however that I’m giving a 3 star is because for whatever reason, this reduces the range of my Hollyland M2s to 40ft in range. Given that the mic supports up to 1000ft. Now, how I tested this is I have another usb-c hub by ANker and was using that before I bought this. I was able to test that again in comparison.
