Lemon Acoustic-Style All Mesh-Head Electronic Drum, Black (13"x5" Snare)

I bought this snare pad and I really needed it to work so when I tried to use it an I was getting double hits 80% of the time I was pretty bummed. As I am way to cheap to get it repaired and too lazy to go through customer service I endeavored to figure out what the issue was on my own. Long story shot; if you’re having the same issue with the double triggering here is what you do. The pezios are opposite polarity to the way they’ve been wired. If you take the top head off you will see where wires from the pads go into little connectors that clip into the jack. Unclip them from the jack and take something small and pointy and use it to gently lift the little tabs on the connector. The wires should slip out of the connector easily now. Then slip the red wire where the black wire had been and vice versa, push the little tabs back down on the wire tips and insert the connector back into the jack. Then replace the head and tighten up again and marvel at how something that glaringly obvious slipped past QC in the Lemon factory. PS the snare is really awesome once fixed so I am giving 4 stars for the 5 minutes it took me to diagnose and fix the issue.

Look ... I'm a professional musician and I've tried several solutions to my problem of having a crap snare. I was previously using a Black Hole single zone trigger on mesh heads also by Black Hole and let me tell you the frustration was real. All other heads were great except the snare... But this ... I literally plugged it in and it was like I was on my acoustic kit. The response is amazing. I didn't even need to adjust my parameters in my alesis module. There is absolutely 0 retriggering, 0 latency, 0 error. The rim trigger is great. It plays ghost notes as well just can't hit to hard or it will register a harder hit .... But overall great design. You can adjust tension on the head for whatever you're going for. It has a authentic snare design as well so it doesn't look cheese. And fits right in with my acoustic converted kit... Highly recommend... Love this and it makes me love my instrument when I'm playing and prepping for things. 👍🏼 Great product

I got this to replace my church’s Alesis strike snare. This snare is fantastic. It has a bit of a click when you hit it versus the soft thud the original snare came with. It works perfectly fine after I plugged it in. The price is unbeatable, no pun intended. This is the second Lemon product I bought. The other was a ride cymbal which works just as well. Very satisfied.

At first I was apprehensive about the cheap price. But man this thing is amazing! Works well with my Simmons kit.

Good drum over all, found the rim zone to not be sensitive enough, as well as the rubber rim guard splits very fast. So expect to replace that.
