Fortunately, I haven't used them and hope I never need them. A set of cables in the trunk is like having insurance. And these cables are cost-effective insurance that stores well in the trunk.

These jumper cables are your basic set of jumper cables, they have good quality cables, and the clips function properly to attach to your battery terminals. They come in various lengths and these are 16 ft which is plenty long enough if the car you need a jump from has to pull next to you and has its battery in the wrong side. These cables come in a great little zippered bag with handles which I love because my last pair of jumper cables did not, and they were forever getting something tangled up with them it seemed like! These are so easy to just keep in the back of your car until you need them, or to grab out of your car quickly to take in a different vehicle or something. I think for the great quality, and the awesome well thought out storage, these are a great set of cables, and well worth the money. Compared to having to call for a jump start from a tow truck, these are super cheap and so worth it! Instead of waiting up to 2 hours or more for your auto insurance to send a tow truck or having to call one and pay per call, you can have these on hand, and be back in the road in minutes as soon as you can get someone to jump your battery. Great value for the money and will pay for themselves a few times over the first time you need them!

This Nilight Jumper Cable is the perfect accessory for peace of mind. The quality is excellent for the price which makes it a tremendous value. At 6ga this is perfect for small to mid-sized vehicles and SUVs, Unless you're jumping a large Van or Heavy Duty pickup truck you should be just fine with this size. I have the 16ft length and it is more than enough to bridge 2 vehicles even with the battery posts at opposite ends. The clamps are thick and sturdy with a good amount of clamping strength unlike most cheap jumper cables and the zip-up cover is a much liked bonus. Overall this is an excellent set of jumper cables that should work as you'd expect and last for quite some time at this price point. I would recommend these to my own family and friends.

I have a Mustang that tends to drain its battery and wanted a set of jumper cables that I could keep in it just in case, until I can fix the issue. These cables fit the need. They have standard clamps, not the overly complicated extended jaw clamps designed for the side terminal batteries that make them just about useless for any battery type, including the side terminal type that they were designed for. These standard clamps do have sharp teeth that grip well on the side terminal batteries as well as the post type making them far more usable in many situations. The cables are flexible and the 16 ft length gives them enough reach for most situations while still making them easy to store. They come with a storage bag that I forgot about and damaged it while opening the box with a utility knife so be careful opening it. The storage bag makes them easy to store in the car without getting tangled up in everything else. Lets hope that I never need to use them, at least not to start my car.

Value for the money. it helped alot when we cross the country. although I didn't get to use it because there was no malfunction on my battery. it gave me peace of mind knowing it's there. It fits on my rav4 trunk where the spare tire is so it doesn't take up space on my main trunk.
