Normally after open , you can keep in refrigertor for year. Over one year please do not use it.

No, it is not a sauce. It is an ingredient that you use to make a sauce. Usually you add 2-3 tablespoons to coconut milk and chicken broth, etc...I prefer it to dry curry powder. This 14 oz. container will make a recipe probably 5-6 times depending on taste preference.
