I previously purchased the first book by Philip Permutt & loved it, great knowledge about crystals and their uses, so decided to purchase this one also and I have found it a great follow on from the previous one. If you want to learn about crystals and all they have to offer as well as names of certain crystals then this is the book to buy (and the first one).

The best book for crystal lovers! I have both volumes. Very informative and well written with no jargon!

I refer back to this book and also volume 1 quite often. They are very useful - I would say however that the picture of the stones would be more useful to me shown as tumbled stones to identify the stones i have more easily. I just use the internet for that. But this book has lovely description of the stones, it has an index but are also colour coded making it easy to find what you are looking for. It has different sections depicting the suggested stones for emotions ailments, physical ailments, spiritual enhancement and lifestyle enhancement. Highly recommended. Volume 1 is set out in the same way. This book has 250 stones. Volume 1 also has 250 but was missing some of the common ones that I have at home and volume 2 covered most of them
