This product became my replacement for Hain's sodium free baking powder once it was discontinued. This one DOES contain sodium (55mg in 1/8 tsp) but it's one of the lowest sodium contents I've found. It is made from cassava flour, & does not have aluminum. It's a small bag, but I do not need to use near the amount that I did with the Hain's. It seems to rise better, my rice waffles are so much fluffier! It did take a while to adjust to the taste, but just because it was something different. Definitely worth the cost, & doesn't contain any of the things that irritate my MCAS (potatoes, corn, wheat, etc).

I baked some scones for a friend who was gluten intolerant. This product was very good and they came out perfect!!

I love this baking powder! Good quality, texture and taste. No aluminum and no nightshades! Hooray for Otto's in realizing corn and potatoes can cause issues for some people. And it's AIP compliant which is very hard to find. It might seem pricey, but IMO the product is totally worth the price. Keep in mind this is baking POWDER, not baking SODA which is a completely different product.

Wonderful product and very good quality. I love that it has clean ingredients and no corn starch in it. Our gut likes it too!

We have corn and wheat intolerance here, so the cornstarch in ordinary baking powders is a non-starter. This works brilliantly, adds no nasty metallic flavor, and is entirely safe for us. Use 1:1 in recipes when substituting for standard baking powder. Brilliant.
