1st time working with leather to make an A5 size journal cover. The dark blue is much darker than expected but i like it & looks nice with my charms. It cut easy, feels genuine & soft, & was fun to work with. Would definitely love to make another in a different color too. I chose not to burnish the edges hoping it will get that fray worn in look.

the leather is a 100% genuine. i bought the dark blue and honestly im really happy w how it looks. the pictures make it look green but it isnt. real easy to work with and also the perfect thickness. i hope it ages nice. i made a journal for my boyfriend and i liked the leather so much i bought the green for myself, gonna post a review on that too.

Leather colors are inconsistent, ordered dark blue twice for a project and they are different colors as well as quality and texture.

True navy blue leather

Beautiful leather -- a nice shade of blue. The texture is very smooth and I found it easy to cut. I noticed no bad smells other than that of real leather (it was relatively low-order). For the money, it's a good deal. Just wish it was actually 2mm as advertised. It's definitely not a very thick leather -- keep that in mind. The website description is not accurate at all regarding the thickness. Also, my piece came with a small cut near one end of the roll. I only lost maybe 2 inches of material due to the cut, but it is annoying to pay for one thing and receive something else.

I bought this to make a trifold leather planner cover. I wanted to put 2 sterling ink common planners in one cover so found a free template online and bought this leather and some accessories. It’s been over 9 months of use and it’s wearing nicely and the blue does not wear off onto other fabrics. I would definitely buy this again to make a daily used item.

Used to create a book cover, worked well enough
