940EV-P2 Universal Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Keypad

This universal keypad replacement is inexpensive, easy to program and 'works like a charm.' We ordered it for our Chamberlain opener, but the programming instructions most similar were listed as Lift Master in the paperwork...no problem however. It even comes with the 9v battery installed. We'd buy it again.

Works perfectly!! Always used my remotes or my automobile opener. This adds another layer of convenience, for example when I am working in the gardens. Facile installation! Recommend!!

This worked great. For 5 months. It stopped working after that. I tried to figure out how to submit a warranty claim but so far haven't figured that out. The website that Avisontek links to from Google is a furniture company. And the info from their Amazon storefront seems to just loop back to customer service, while customer service sends you to their Amazon store front. If anyone working at the company reads this please reach out to me. Id like to submit a claim.

Very easy to install. The mounting holes did not match up exactly to my old unit so I had to drill a new hole. No big deal. Getting it to sync up with my old Chamberlain opener was very easy.

Works as expected. Buttons are easy to press and responsive. ***However, this keypad does _NOT_ have the 'One Button Close' feature where you can just press the ENTER key to close the garage door without entering the code again. If that is not a dealbreaker for you - this is a very nice keypad.

Works well. I initially bought an off brand. The other brand looked almost identical, but it only lasted a couple of years. I was surprised that it wasn't just a dead battery. I often had to press the enter button a second time to get the door to open. This name brand one was twice the cost, but it works reliably.

Perfect replacement for our original Chamberlain keypad. It’s the same size as the original, so no new holes to be drilled. I like that it has a halfway hinge so it won’t accidentally get flipped up during wind storms. Unlike the original one, you have to enter the code to close it. It only took me 5 minutes to get it to work. Can’t beat the price also.

Works great with Liftmaster openers. Easy to install and program.

This item has exceeded my expectations and worked perfectly with my existing garage system. It was pretty easy to set up although the instructions are not standard. So I recommend anybody that purchases this print out the instructions so as not to lose them.
