Mᴏʀᴇ Tʜᴀɴ Jᴜsᴛ Aɴ Aɪʀғʀʏᴇʀ — A Lɪғᴇᴛɪᴍᴇ Oғ Cᴏᴏᴋɪɴɢ Pᴀssɪᴏɴ Mᴇᴇᴛs Mᴏᴅᴇʀɴ PʀᴇᴄɪsɪᴏɴI’ve been the proud owner of a Cosori Dual Blaze Airfryer for over a year now. I’ve grown quite fond of it, and it’s served me exceptionally well, particularly during the intense summer heatwaves. It really does improve my quality of life. I would never have switched on the conventional oven during those stifling weeks; the large windows and the balcony door are more than enough to keep my living space warm in the middle of summer. This compact, lightning-fast appliance allows me to enjoy a proper hot meal without turning my home into a greenhouse.Tʜᴇ Cʜɪʟᴅʜᴏᴏᴅ Fᴏᴜɴᴅᴀᴛɪᴏɴs Aɴᴅ Cʟᴀʏ OᴠᴇɴsCooking has always been a passion of mine, a much-loved daily task. My childhood laid the firm foundations. My mother was an excellent cook, utilising the simple but high-quality appliances of her time. My grandfather helped her out by making breakfast, utterly convinced that no one but him could cook a perfect soft-boiled egg. My father rarely prepared snacks, but his toasted brown bread, spread with fresh lard, a little paprika, and plenty of garlic, still evokes touching childhood memories today. He was also the man for the heavy lifting. We used to buy half a pig from a local farmer for our family of seven; he would masterfully cut it up, trim off the bacon, and produce delicious lard and the most incredible crackling. In such circumstances, one can’t help but develop a lifelong passion for food. The scout camps of my youth took this passion to the next level. It was there that I discovered my fascination with ovens and stoves. We built them ourselves out of raw clay and stones. That’s how you truly learn what matters in thermal dynamics. I was ruthless in my open-air kitchen, allowing others in only as helpers while I proudly took charge of the cooking, frying, and baking for the full 14 days.Fʀᴏᴍ Bɪɢ Cɪᴛʏ Sᴛᴜᴅᴇɴᴛ Tᴏ Lᴀʀɢᴇ Fᴀᴍɪʟʏ TᴀʙʟᴇsWhen I moved to the big city to study, I initially shared a flat with two of my sisters. One of them was a gifted cook who, years later, moved to the countryside to become a farmer. Whenever I visited her farmhouse, she would show me her tricks on the large brick kitchen stove and the wood-fired oven. That was the first time I fell in love with a stove. As a student in my subsequent flats, I finally had my own fully kitted-out kitchens where I cooked extensively for friends and partners. During that era, I learned to appreciate the instant precision of gas-based temperature control—a level of responsiveness I now find replicated in this Airfryer and my single induction hob.Over time, my equipment improved while remaining reasonably priced. IKEA became a close friend because, with a family that eventually grew to four children, money was often tight. But there are more important things in life than expensive branding. Since my wife didn't fancy cooking, I took over the kitchen every single day. I would start at 7 PM, and dinner was always served a little after 9 PM, spanning at least two courses. Often there were more than just the six of us; we ran a deeply hospitable home, routinely welcoming 10 or even 12 people around the dining table. It was pure quality time.Tʜᴇ Lᴏɴᴅᴏɴ Uᴘɢʀᴀᴅᴇ Aɴᴅ Cᴜʟɪɴᴀʀʏ MᴇᴍᴏʀɪᴇsThe children grew up and are now living and working all over the world. Sadly, their mother passed away from cancer. I ended up in London nearly 16 years ago, which turned out to be a wonderful base, making it an exciting destination for the family to come and visit. Of course, we go out a lot when they are here, but the collective desire for Dad to cook remains unchanged. It seems I’ve managed to create some lasting memories through food. For the first few years in London, I lived in a two-room flat within a shared house. I cooked a lot with mates from all sorts of different countries. We celebrated over many shared meals, gradually kitting out the kitchen with specialised appliances bought almost entirely on Amazon: a sous vide machine, an extra halogen oven, an ice cream maker, and a heavy cast-iron pizza oven in the garden that could reach over 400 degrees.Six years ago, I moved into my current flat, and the upgrade began all over again. Today, my kitchen features a mix of vintage appliances that still work reliably after more than a dozen years, alongside smart new purchases. I am still cooking with the exact same passion.A Mᴏᴅᴇʀɴ Cʟᴀʏ Oᴠᴇɴ Aɴᴅ Fᴜᴛᴜʀᴇ Cᴏᴏʟɪɴɢ PʟᴀɴsThe Cosori Dual Blaze is the first advanced oven alternative I’ve truly fallen in love with. In many ways, its efficiency reminds me of those homemade clay ovens from my early teenage years. It delivers on every single promise. It takes very little time to get to know and make the most of its capabilities. Often, to optimise the result, you only need to deviate by a few 5-degree increments up or down from the versatile pre-set programs.Currently, I only have a temporary Comfee 9000 BTU cooling unit set up in the bedroom. As soon as I expand my budget to purchase a Midea PortaSplit portable air-to-air heat pump, the open-plan kitchen will also be kept cool at a very low operational cost. Although it is more expensive to buy initially than standard portable air conditioners, it uses almost no power at all in Silent Mode (around 300 watts). That will be enough to keep my entire 40 m² flat consistently cooled to between 24 and 26 degrees. Once that is installed, I will be able to cook lavishly for guests even in the height of summer without causing thermal overload. My other appliances, like my two COSORI Electric Pressure Multi Cookers (5.7L), shouldn’t have to take a forced summer break during future heatwaves.Mɪɴᴏʀ Gʀɪᴇᴠᴀɴᴄᴇs Wɪᴛʜ Tʜᴇ Aᴘᴘ EᴄᴏsʏsᴛᴇᴍLike all great loves, however, there are still a few minor things that prove to be a bit of a nuisance. This lies primarily within the app, which is otherwise quite good. For example, I love setting a cooking alarm from the kitchen to go off in my nicely cooled bedroom during heatwaves. There’s just one missing software feature that really bothers me: whilst the clever tweaks to your custom settings are saved, you cannot give them a personalised name. Perhaps this will be added in a future update. At least they’ve recently added the option to save photos of your food alongside the technical settings. Furthermore, the online Cosori recipe collection is less extensive than expected and is rarely updated. However, it remains more than enough to familiarise yourself with the appliance’s core capabilities before adapting recipes from various third-party sources to suit this dual-heating system.A Sᴍᴀʀᴛ Bᴜʏᴇʀ’s Sᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ-Hᴀɴᴅ SᴛʀᴀᴛᴇɢʏThe fact that some users still don’t want to put in the minimal effort to adapt to this technology is evident from quite a few highly critical online comments. Personally, I find these negative reviews baffling. It takes so little time to understand how the top and bottom heating elements interact. That said, I have directly benefited from the returns of people who are less keen to explore new culinary possibilities. I bought my Cosori appliances second-hand via Amazon Warehouse in immaculate condition, looking virtually brand new, and with a full warranty. If you would rather not pay full retail price, you simply need to invest a bit more time and keep a close eye on the daily price fluctuations in the deals section. It is worth every penny.

Powerful, smart and fast air fryer
Really impressed with this air fryer!I'd previously had a costco brand air fryer (gourmia) and it was simply awful and broke within a month! After that nightmare, I decided to purchase this unit and I was immediately impressed. The unit is a good, compact size, with it not being any wider than the basket itself. It looks smart and modern, with a minimalist and simple control panel. The unit cooks food perfectly, and I think the dual elements go a long way to achieve this. It seems a gimmic, but from my experience it does make a difference. The different modes allow you to control the balance of heat that comes from the top and bottom elements, which allows food to be cooked correctly.(eg, using bake function for things like a baked potato, broil for cheese on toast and air fry for chips etc)The unit also comes with functions for commonly cooked foods, such as chicken and fries. In my experience, these work well too!My only gripe (and this is true of all air fryers, not just this one) is the cleaning. The basket and crisp tray do get very dirty (depending on what you're cooking, of course) which means they require cleaning after almost every use. A positive of this unit, is that it is at least easy to access the areas that need cleaning. The tray can be removed and the basket does clean quite easily, so that is a saving grace of this unit. The smart features of this air fryer are cool in concept, but day to day, I almost never use them. Others might have a different opinion, but I personally think that the cooking performance and style of this unit, is it's main selling point, not the smart features.Overall, I would recomment this unit to anyone in the market for a really good, multi-use air fryer. It's very economical, stylish to look at, and cooks food perfectly. I'm really impressed!

More Than an Air Fryer – A Game-Changer for Quick & Tasty Meals!
I never thought an air fryer would replace my oven… but here we are! I originally bought this COSORI Air Fryer as a temporary fix when my kitchen oven broke, expecting to use it for just a few weeks. Instead, it quickly became a kitchen essential, even after I replaced my main oven. This isn’t just an air fryer—it’s a compact, efficient oven that cooks faster and better than I expected.Fast, Even Cooking & No Preheating NeededThis model is way more than just a chip fryer—I’ve used it for chicken breasts, roasted veg, jacket potatoes, and even an entire small chicken. It heats up instantly (no preheating needed), and food cooks in half the time of a standard oven. A batch of homemade chips takes just 15 minutes or so, and they come out crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.Pros:✅ Works like a mini oven – Air fries, bakes, roasts, and reheats all in one.✅ No preheating needed – Saves at least 10 minutes compared to a regular oven.✅ Crispy food, tender inside – Perfect for homemade ‘fried’ chicken and sweet potato fries.✅ Easy to clean – Dishwasher-safe drawer & tray, though tougher stains might need a scrub.✅ Great size for small families – Ideal for 2-3 people, but for larger meals, you may need a bigger model.Cons:❌ Smart features are limited in the UK – You can monitor via the app, but UK regulations block remote activation.❌ Takes up counter space – Not huge, but bulkier than a basic air fryer.Final Thoughts:This COSORI Air Fryer is a game-changer—fast, efficient, and versatile. Once you realise it’s a small oven, not just an air fryer, the possibilities open up. If you’re considering one, this model is well worth it!

The best kitchen appliance we've ever bought
We couldn't be happier with this air fryer. The main reason for looking at buying one was because we have a bottom of the range electric oven that takes ages to cook things, and it cooks unevenly. We cannot replace it as we rent our house. The air fryer has changed everything for us! Since we've got it we've only used the oven once to cook a pizza. The air fryer handles pretty much everything, it cooks the food better and quicker, I love it!So far we've done various types of chicken, roasted vegetables, even soft boiled eggs (9 minutes at 130c for perfect soft boiled eggs). We've cooked mini pizzas in it, frozen fries/chips come out perfect, everything we try just works. It's easy to use, looks good, and easy to clean. When cooking whole meals in there I've been cooking the meat (usually chicken) first, taking that out and wrapping in foil, then doing the veg. When the veg is done, the meat is still hot.If you're on the fence, just buy it.

Brilliant Air Fryer
I bought this airfryer about a year ago. It was my first airfryer ever, and I love it. I have not tried any other airfryers on the market, however, I wouldn't substitute it for any other.Pros:- easy to use and very convenient- very sturdy with good quality material- you don't need to flip food due to the dual heating elements- you generally don't need to preheat it.- very easy to clean- very large capacity. It would fit a meal for two easily.- I have not tried the connectivity function, however, it's a good option to have if you are away from your airfryer. To be honest, I don't have any complaints or cons to be noted. The only thing that might be a con for some people is that it's a semi-large unit for the basket model, however, you need this size to deliver on quality and quantity so I would prefer it to any of the other smaller models that simply wouldn't be as good.Last thing to be noted is cosori's customer service. They were brilliant !My basket had a very bad accidental damage recently which doesn't fall under the warranty. I have reached to cosori's customer service asking to buy a replacement basket. They went above and beyond for me and sent a new basket free of charge although I have offered to pay and it's not covered by the warranty. This is a company that stands by its product and customers.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

An ideal air fryer for a larger family. Would recommend.
So, before I start babbling, would I recommend this air fryer? Absolutely. Isn't it pricey? Yes. But it isn't the priciest on the market, offers excellent functionality and provides a large single basket as opposed to 2 reasonably sized baskets that many others provide. Your personal requirements determine what sort of basket you need but for me, I wanted to be able to cook the joints of meat I would normally cook in the oven and that required a large, single basket. Isn't Cosori an unknown brand? In the UK, largely, yes. In the USA, they have won a number of awards. We have owned an air fryer for a number of years but it was bought when the kids were smaller and wasn't really big enough for us anymore. We kept persevering until parts started to wear and finally took the plunge into a bigger model. Granted, this cost a lot more than our original and isn't a brand you'll find many of in High Street stores but for the size we needed, the price was reasonable. There are air fryers on the market that boast a similar capacity but this is generally split between 2 baskets and I wanted to be able to cook whole joints of meat. This air fryer has proven to do the job fantastically. The chicken in the pics was an X Large, weighing around 2.6kg. This went in fine having removed the tray (this is recommended in Cosori recipes for a whole chicken anyway). I have cooked a large chicken with the tray still inserted and got similar results. I have also managed to cook a pork joint as well as things like fries, chicken dippers, potatoes and even homemade samosas (don't be put off by pics of air fried samosas online that look anaemic. Make them with filo pastry as they should be made, brush lightly with oil/butter/or maybe egg prior to cooking and line the basket with samosas. 10-14 minutes turning about midway through, gave wonderfully crispy samosas, just like the restaurants). There is little information by Cosori on the use of the air fryer but a quick search on social media and the internet provides information that is of use. Other than that, it is a case of trial and error. The XL chicken cooked in around an hour. The large chicken took a little less (always check the internal temp before eating regardless of how you cook). The pork was very big and took a lot longer to cook through but still took less time than a conventional oven. The crackling came out lovely (much to my partners delight who doesn't particularly like pork but loves crackling). The meat came out with that dark brown sort of crust around the ends and was juicy inside. The chickens have cooked perfectly, not drying out.The functionality of the air fryer is simple. Choose a setting such as roast or air fry, set a temperature and set a time. The timer is limited but anything that needs cooking beyond an hour will likely need turning anyway, at which point the timer is reset. The app for your phone shows how much time is left and provides a notification when the timer has ended. There is more that can be achieved with the app but I have not yet ventured into all of that. I believe you can record your own cooking times for particular foods to help you the next time. As already mentioned, there are a lot of recipes on the Cosori website but for your basic cooking instructions, it is best to look elsewhere for a guide and also use trial and error. A general rule of thumb seems to be to take the oven cooking instructions, reduce the temp by 20c and the time by 20%. This gives you a ball park to work with even if not exact. In short, this is a fantastic piece of equipment and I'm sure I'm already on my way to recouping my costs by saving money not using the oven (to cook an XL large chicken in much less time, and with no pre-heating the oven, and in an appliance that uses less power is an instant saving). I would definitely recommend it. Some people have little patience for learning to use a new appliance and/or have little desire to look online for some helpful advice and tips. That will give you a negative attitude towards the air fryer but putting a small amount of time in, joining some groups and looking online will get you cooking in no time.

I think I'm going to like this
Before I start, I bought this for £135.99 before the price jump - more by luck than judgement - I'm not sure that I would have "gambled" more than the £135.99. That said.......I'm only just getting to know this beast - but I'm really liking it so far. It's a pity that they are called air fryers as they are really mini convection ovens - I appreciate that "mini convection oven" or MCO doesn't trip of the tongue or stay in the brain the same way as Air Fryer does. Whatever you want to call it, it's saving me either quickly-ish heating a double convection oven or slowly heating a smaller conventional oven at least once a day (the main saving is likely to be stopping my husband heating up the double oven to to heat up 3 sausage rolls) I think I'll recoup the initial outlay! The wifi is useful - it tells you when things are done so you don't have to hang around in the kitchen (but then so does a bleeping oven timer...) and was easy to set up. It also tells you to "enjoy." - hmmmmI've tried a few of my usual oven type meals and they have all come out really well and didn't take so long). Good old faithful roast chicken (just under 2kg) (with yorkshire pud) was probably the most moist chicken I've ever cooked and I've been turning out pretty good chicken for quite a few decades! The Yorkshire pud for two people was just right (I like a soft base for gravy absorbing purposes but if you like a crispy one just turn it over for a moment or two!) and was cooked while the chicken was resting.Jacket potatoes started in the microwave and finished in the AF were pretty good - better if I didn't (as some advised doing) rub them with oil. About 20 mins gave a happy husband level of crispyness - personally I prefer them more crunchy - if I was that bothered I'd have left it in for longer.Quicky cheat food - like co-op tempura prawns for the days when you need a crunchy, munchy "something" are about as good as it gets: super crispy without drying out and faster.Pork loin chops without the bone - blindingly fast and tender.Stuff in tin trays - great - as long as there's air space around the tray and you don't scratch up the non-stick surface.Stuff in wooden cook in the tray containers I transferred to a different dish as the beast has two heating elements and the wooden tray might be just that bit too close t the top element. I might be being over cautious. The Cosori info suggest that it's good for 4 to 6 portions/people. Hmmm, that depends on what you're cooking and the size of appetite. If you were doing, for instance, southern fried type chicken and wanted more than 1 thigh each you would be doing 2 batches - you'd probably only get 4 to 5 thighs in the basket. The recipe book gives you a few ideas to start you off but is quite Americancentric (although weights and measures are metric) - the Cosori UK - live life tastefully FB page is far more useful (Glenn Adams for useful tips, times and yorkshire pud recipe). There's also a ton of information on youtube that's worth look.Over all it cooks things faster without having to heat up a load of unused cooking space. The drawer/basket is a doddle to clean - either by hand or in the dishwasher - as it's non-stick and for the oven cavity a quick wipe around with a damp cloth when it's cooled works well. I've tipped it on it's side/upside down to wipe the top element area as it could get quite greasy. The bottom line is that I'm very happy that I've bought it and I don't feel that it's going to be one of those gadgets that ends up gathering dust and not living up to the hype.

An air fryer thats got the lot.
We bought the Cosori Dual Blaze two months ago after some very extensive research, so we have had plenty of time to evaluate it. The fact that it's used almost every day says a lot. Cosori isn't one of the big brands here in the UK, but seems very popular in other countries. I don't know why, as the build quality and attention to detail is excellent. My only gripe is the basket size is 9.25 x 9.25 inches and most small pizzas seem to be 10 inches. After a bit of head scratching I found that cutting a small (less than half an inch) piece crust on 4 sides of the pizza meant it then fit nicely. We bought the Cosori to replace our old, worn out air fryer. Although this old one had the ability to tumble chips (fries) for even results whilst cooking, it can be a hindrance at times as as it can break up soft items. Cooking evenly in this model of Cosori is achieved by using the cleverly positioned dual elements at the top and bottom. One of the big advantages of an air fryer in the current economic climate is the electricity that is used to cook with is a lot less than a large conventional oven. There is no pre-heating needed for a start. One other feature which may be considered a gimmick, and in a way, is that the Cosori can connect to wifi with the ability to connect to an app on your smartphone. This allows the uploading of mode/time and temperature to be set remotely for the various included recipes. I am not too bothered about that feature but what is very useful is that it will pop up a notification on my iPhone as soon as it has finished cooking. If I am watching a TV program I tend to forget it's on.Social media is the place to find lots of advice and tricks to get the best out of the Cosori, along with some superb recipes. Cooking times and temperatures take a bit of adapting due to its efficiency, but cooking instructions on the back of food packaging are now starting to include air fryers. The picture shows a whole chicken we cooked the day after we bought it. It cooked in a lot less time than stated on the instructions. A cooking thermometer is your friend. Very impressed.

Notfalls je nach Wunsch also nachgaren. Was soll ich sagen, EIN GEDICHT! Also von uns ganz klar, Daumen hoch!

Super appareil

This is a great airfryer as it’s wifi and I am legally blind I can claim it under consumables. The outsides of the airfryer box do heat up a lot but it works great with both elements
