Hi folks could you roast a pork joint and add potatoes in at a later time inthe cooking process? Thank you

Yes, most certainly. You can let the joint rest while roasting the potatoes. When the potatoes are ready, they all can serve together.

Compared to a conventional oven, does it uses less energy.?

Yes a lot less over 12 months.you think about how much energy a oven uses .just to do a tray of chips according to my smart meter.the different readings for a oven then reading for the air fryer is mind boggling how much money you can save over a year is why I am sticking with the air fryer has much as I can and only use the oven only when I need to

The previous model of 5.5L can fit chicken of up to 2700g, what can this one fit?

Hello, the CAF-L501 air fryer can cook a whole chicken. It is suggest looking for a smaller sized chicken, around 1.5 to 1.8 kgs. You will need to make sure that the baskets can comfortably close with the chicken inside, and that when the breast side is facing up that it is not touching the heating element, otherwise it will burn. Hope this help. Further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Does the basket have a solid bottom or does fat drip down on the bottom heating element ?

The basket as a sold bottom and no fat has come in contact with the bottom of the cooker.
