Works very well, and SUPER quiet, especially on the lowest setting. We used it for about five months before the "replace filter" light came on. (That's why I'm looking at the listing today--to remind myself of the model number so I can order replacement filters.) I was just telling my husband last night that I can't remember the last time I heard him snore. The timing lines up with our purchase of this air purifier, so that's probably the reason! I'd definitely recommend it.

very quiet and the light turns red when there are particles in the air and blue when it is clear. Works well and price is very reasonable. Purchased 3, one for my 94 year old mum and two for me as I have a 2 strey home. Came in real handy during the smoke invasion a few weeks back.

Great product. Works well. It has cut down on the pet fur and dust in my 15x20 room. Pay attention to the dimensions. It's not a tiny. It looked smaller to me so I almost didn't get it as I wanted a larger purifier. So the size is exactly what I wanted / expected. It's not silent but it's pretty quiet to me. Again, no surprise for me as I checked the db rating first.

I liked the unit initially. Easy to carry, to place and has a good, strong air flow (especially on max, if you want to get the full CADR), without being noisy. I had no rattling sounds as mentioned by others. It is quite annoying that the light turns on when trying to change speeds and also the beeping is bothersome at night. I also wish there was a remote. The CADR is low, rated at 108, which I only found out after purchasing. CADR is how fast it can pass the air through and clean it. When one has pets and kids, a lot of dust, fur and more gets moved around. So the machine has to be able to purify quickly, otherwise it won't keep up. Another thing is the AQI indicator on this machine. It's very sluggish and picks up with difficulty and inaccurately. I put a lit cigarette in front of it and it took its sweet time changing. Even then, it only went to yellow. Then, I noticed a faint chemical perfume-like smell coming from the unit. I asked other family members, they could smell it too. I have to mention that this was a brand new unit and sealed, together with a sealed filter. It didn't fade away at all after running the machine on high for 24hrs. The final straw is when I took out my own air quality tester and placed it over the "purified" air coming from the unit. PM 2.5 was very low (2) and formaldehyde too. But the VOC number kept creeping upward. I took the tester to a different corner of the room and the numbers started going down. Took it back to the purifier and they were climbing again. So this actually GIVES OFF VOCs, instead of cleaning them from the air. I'm beyond disappointed and will be returning asap. I have also tested other purifiers in my home and they do not give off VOCs, not even the cheapest one.

After returning home to Texas after a 2 week vacation in the pacific northwest, and being reminded once again how much the air here (among many other things) SUCKS, and developing a case of the flu on top of that, I was like yep, not doing it, not dealing with it, I'm buying a new air purifier. I immediately noticed the difference. This thing is SO much better than our old Winix! I am allergic to dust mites and have several health conditions that not only making breathing difficult, but in cases of illness (like the flu) it's more likely to develop into pneumonia. While I'm not a doctor and I have no evidence to support my anecdote, I really do feel this helped me recover from this latest episode of the flu, and helped prevent it from progressing to pneumonia, by lessening the workload and irritation on my lungs. I also super appreciate the light toggle, that drove me nuts with my old Winix unit that I could never turn them off! The one BIG, HUGE, gripe I have: WHY IS THERE NO MUTE BUTTON?!?! Why do I have to pay another $120 for the next model up to have that feature?! Surely it's not THAT complicated to wire... My dog is noise phobic and the sound emitted from toggling the buttons on this purifier triggers her. I've managed to figure out now that if I press a button really quick and say "all done! Finished!" She seems to understand I'm not going to make the noise happen anymore and calms down. But it's super frustrating, you don't understand how scared she gets and it breaks my heart to see her like that. I was seriously about ready to eviscerate this thing and break the solder for the speaker, wouldn't be the first time I've done it, but it seems we've found a way to live with it so I don't need to. I've seen this complaint from other dog owners with the same problem though, please fix this!!
