Great Mic at the Perfect Price Point
I purchased the Mic Mini to help shoot quick videos for work. I shoot a lot of short videos with vocals and if it is windy or there are machines running near where I am shooting the iPhone just does not cut out enough of the background noise and the videos sound rough. It has been a month now and I can honestly say I love it. These little Mic's make all the difference. They do a great job in noise reduction. My vocals sound crisp and clear. I did my research but the price point of this Mic Mini is what sold me. Best bang for the buck in my opinion. The carrying case is the perfect size. It is small, has pockets for all of the pieces and fits in my pocket. This makes it easy to carry around, quickly set up when I need to record a video, then break it down and put it back in my pocket and continue on. The clip works on shirts, coats and sweaters. The magnet is super strong. The battery capacity is great. I charged it when I first got it and still have not had to charge either mic yet. The Receiver connects to my phone super quick making this great for on the go. If you are trying to record crisp, quality audio on a budget this should be your go to. I cannot find anything negative to say about the Mic Mini

Amazing!
This product, especially at the black friday prices, is a great deal. The build quality is good, the sound quality is great - clear and consistent, the range is phenomenal (although I suspect it's limited to standard Bluetooth range if you use it with a non-DJI product). It's even smaller than I thought it was! How it packs all this tech in such a tiny device is astounding. I could not find pairing instructions to my Osmo Action 5 Pro in the small instruction manual of either device, but a quick YT search showed me how to do it (I had JUST gotten my Action5 hours before, so I wasn't fully familiar with it - but if you swipe down from the top of the screen, you get the tools menu, and inside "settings" and can select "wireless mic" and it will step you through the first pairing. Easy. I see a future "adventure" product for DJI: if you can pack this much tech and transmitting power in such a tiny device, make it slightly bigger and add a receiver and support for the Bluetooth to use a headphone, and you could have an awesome, always-on, clip-on, 1-ounce walkie-talkie for hikers, or possibly for communicating between bikers.

Mic Mini
Another great DJI product. Easy to connect to your cell phone, camera, or even my drone. Great sound quality and a nice upgrade over phone mics. Great price and easy to use.

The mic that makes me sound like royalty.
The DJI Mic Mini is less a microphone and more an introduction to one’s second career as a world-renowned orator. Inside the elegant charging case lie two transmitters and one receiver, all whispering with wireless confidence and promising that my voice shall never again be confined by cords like some commoner’s tether. The dual transmitters are a delight. Clip one to the lapel, the other to a guest, and suddenly even the most drab conversation has the crispness of a broadcast from the BBC. Each transmitter holds its charge for up to five and a half hours, though the case itself bestows life again and again, stretching total recording time to a staggering fifteen hours. I could monologue the complete works of Shakespeare twice over and still have battery to spare. Range? Two hundred and fifty meters, line of sight. Far enough that I could stroll the grounds of the estate, shouting dramatic commentary to the geese at the pond, while the receiver politely delivers every honk and word back to the recorder without a drop. The receiver slides neatly into a camera hot shoe or connects with phones and laptops alike, and its OLED display reassures even the most neurotic critic that levels are correct. The audio itself is uncompressed, pristine, a velvet ribbon of sound. Even the windshields, those tiny fuzzy crowns, perform nobly in breezes that would otherwise reduce a lesser mic to static. Pairing? Automatic. Simpler than convincing the butler to bring another glass of sherry. Storage? The case doubles as organizer and power bank, keeping each piece snug in its proper chamber. Now, my one grievance. For all its refinement, the DJI Mic Mini does not include the Lightning adapter in the box. One must purchase it separately, as though we had not already invested princely sums in the system itself. A minor indignity, but one I cannot forgive entirely. Even so, five stars, without hesitation. The DJI Mic Mini does not merely capture sound. It captures dignity. It makes even grocery lists spoken aloud sound like proclamations fit for marble halls.

Sound Is More Important Than Video
Are you looking for an affordable way to start making quality content? If yes, then start with audio. I can watch 1080p all day, no problem, but if I hear that echo from a bare room, or you're fifteen feet away from the camera and screaming so as to try and reach the cameras microphones, I'm out. Clicking away. I know you've experienced this too. The DJI Mic Mini offers you a very fair price to start a podcast, create video content, and impress your mom. Opening this brought a lot of excitement, mostly, I just love good products, but I had a lot anticipation as to what the Mic Mini was going to provide. It comes with two microphone transmitters, a receiver, the charging case, two types of wind screens (two grey for superior wind reduction and two black for discreteness), usb a to c charging cable, a TRRS audio cable, and a nifty little travel bag to store it all in. The charging case is small enough to fit in your pocket, but you wouldn't want to leave it there. Everything is plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. The design seems to have a lot of thought put into it. For starters, the full package comes with a small usb c adapter that slides onto the bottom of the receiver, allowing you to connect this to any device that has a type c usb, this comes stored along the back wall of the charging case. It not only stores the adapter, but also doubles as a place to hold the tiny cover removed in order to attach the adapter. The best part? You don't have to remove the adapter from the bottom of the receiver to put it back into the case! I thought this was so cool. So if you only use the receiver with the type c adapter attached, you can treat it as such without the hassle of removing it each time as the case has a hollowed out portion along the bottom of it that allows the receiver to slide into it's dock, trouble free. There is also a duplicate storage section along that back of the wall of the charging case plugged with a rubber grommet you could use for a second adapter, maybe you're still using an iPhone with a lightning port or something. Another great feature I thought was cool is that you can monitor the audio coming out of the microphone by plugging any ol' set of headphones into the receiver. This allows you to hear what it sounds like as you record! I am so happy with this product. The day I got it, the very hour I opened it up and attached it to my phone, the microphone worked. The receiver and transmitters link themselves through the charging case and I didn't have to fumble through an app to get it setup. Which, if you're like me, I am hesitant to install another app on my phone, it means a lot. The DJI Mic Mini can be operated using a majority of it's features, like recording in mono vs stereo, enabling the sound suppression, and pairing itself to other bluetooth devices with the interaction of buttons on the transmitter and receivers. Now, there are things that can't be done without the DJI Mimo App, like a second level of noise suppression, and recording in mono with a safety track, but if you just want it to get up and running and have most of what you need to record a video. The app-less capabilities are great. I didn't think battery life was gonna be one of my favorite features, but while going over material to make my review on the DJI Mic Mini, I realized how long the transmitters themselves, the receiver, and the case last on one charge. Precisely for the fact that I haven't charged this since it came out of the box. A weekend warrior here, so i've only used it for projects during my time off, but still, I would say that i've recorded over 10 hours of footage with it. My wife also used it for a two hour virtual workshop, ten hours isn't a lot, but considering that i've had to replace 10 batteries through my camera during that time, the DJI Mic Mini charging case combo saves me time. To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. Maybe the fact that it doesn't have onboard internal recording as backup, 32 bit float for audio clipping, or the best bluetooth connectivity (as others have reported), and if that is the case then you need to be looking at the DJI Mic 2, which features all these things in the same from factor as the bundled version of the DJI Mic Mini in a charging case. Or maybe I want the advanced noise suppression and microphone controls without the app, but that might be asking a lot and I should just download it. Couple this with a modern smartphone and you have the ability to reach millions of people. Think about how many shorts, reels, and tiktoks you've seen with just someone holding a wireless mic. I bet you a large portion uses one from DJI. This brand is reputable and there a lot of people who attest to their quality and their price to performance ratios. If you're a noob, or even a seasoned content creator, the DJI Mic Mini is right for you. Whatever your use case may be, the quality of sound this product makes for the cost it takes to buy one, is about as good as it gets.

Didn't work for me but is a good mic.
I returned this. Not because it's a bad product but because it wasn't the right tool for me. The DJI mini is probably the best bang for your buck as long as you don't fall under the following categories. First, if you do a ton of action during recording the sound will have issues with clipping or being too quiet there was no middle ground. Second, if you have a booming low voice don't even try it. I was on the razor's edge between clipping the mic and being too low for editing even when standing still. If you pull up reviews of this mic you'll see that everyone has a middle to high pitched voice and they sound great but if you sang bass in the church choir then your mic selection will be your new job. As a bass voice running around while recording I recommend the Tascam dl10 or dl10 Pro. You'll have to sync in post and deal with a standalone audio file but it'll work every time. One day I'll try the newest DJI mic 3 when I find one on sale but till then I'm sticking with the old reliable Tascam clipped to my belt even though it's more cumbersome.

Nice and compact
As always, DJI delivers an incredible product. The small size and the carry pouch makes it simple to carry out. The audio quality is amazing and you can use it with your smartphone. Compatible with several applications and if you use other DJI products it makes your vlogging way more easy.
