Wear gloves and a mask and ensure adequate ventilation; this stuff is potent! Used for affixing a Formica top to my workbench. Easy to apply with a roller - but be quick - and sticks like the proverbial. Really secure packaging and good delivery timescale. Great price to boot.

This is very good adhesive, but for my application, it probably went off a little too quick.

Works really well, doesn't smell to strong which is a bonus if using in a confined area, I secured anti slip mats to a fibre glass boat.

Evo-Stik. A throw back to my youth. The glue your dad would always have a tube of. 528, is the traditional Evo-Stik that will stick nearly everything. It's perfect for sticking the soles of your shoes back on. It will stick almost anything to anything. Just make sure the surfaces are clean (a wipe down with something like Isopropyl alcohol will work wonders). Apply the glue to both items to be attached, then leave it to dry. Any time of 15 minutes or longer is ideal. Then press the two sides together. They will bond instantly, so make sure you position them correctly first time. Depending on what you are bonding, it would usually be best to leave the item for 24 hours. You can also apply a clamp, if you want a really strong bond. Overall, this is a great, useful glue to have in your cupboard. At room temperature and with the lid sealed tight, it will last indefinitely. Highly recommended. I bought some vinyl floor tiles for the hallway / landing / stairs they were sticky backed but I wanted them stucked down permanently bought this glue , very good , very sticky and dries quickly

I used this to glue vinyl headlining in a caravan with all the windows actually removed (as opposed to just open) and it was quite a windy day. I thought this would be a very well ventilated space, but this stuff honks to high heaven!!! Both me and the missus had splitting headaches after a while. It's really really thick as well so spreading it evenly takes a long time - and you get it everywere -I even had it in my hair!!. It works very well as an adhesive, but on day two we decided to try some spray contact adhesive. For the job we were doing te spray was just as good an adhesive, but quicker to apply and didn't give us headache.

So far, this has mended shoes, a fridge, several missing feet on miscellaneous household items, and been used to repair/upgrade a large musical instrument cover by attaching kevlar fabric over a high-wear area. It has worked well in each of these diverse applications and is yet to let us down yet in any way. It's quite tricky to spread and it's easy to get excess on your fingers / tools / edges of tin… obviously it's quite, er, sticky when wet. But any excess can be removed easily when dry. The real sticking power is when two surfaces with semi-dry adhesive (5-10 mins depending on surface) are brought into contact and held for a short time. The bond strength is excellent, the bond itself is low profile and (in the case of fabrics) seems to keep its flexibility. I would recommend this for a wide range of repairs. Oh and it's economical too – you will easily get many more repairs out of this can than a tube of cyanoacrylate ('super glue').
